  1. Just had a huge snow, but man am I ready to get my garden growing. Drip irrigation is super fun. Any tips on how early to start seeds indoors?

  2. Is it a bad idea to connect micro sprayers to a 1/2 inch main line that will also have 1/2gph pressure compensating emitters? Or just have the micro sprayers on it's own 1/2 inch line? This will be my first year using drip irrigation and it's a fairly large vegetable garden. 45ftx65ft. So I've figured out, with my current seed/plant layout in my mind, that I'll probably need about 220 feet of 1/2 inch main line with about 120 emitters. I'm pretty sure that will be fine. BUT, I will also have 2 types of corn on each end. About 200 sweet corn and on the other end 50 glass gem corn. That's where I would use the micro sprayers if I could. But would that lead to a pressure issue if the sprayers were on the same main line? What about laying out the 1/4 inch tube along the corn rows from the main line, plug it and poke holes in it to work like a soaker hose? Would that cause a pressure issue for the emitters?

  3. Can you do a show on shading your garden? I live in the Fresno area, and it's a 107 today. I'll be looking forward to hopefully seeing here. Thanks Steve
