One of the first stops in the fall that we wanted to make was to pay a visit to Sean and Sasha from Edible Acres. Together, they have created a vibrant, bursting-at-the-garden seams plant community on their 1/2 acre plot—equipped with chicken compost run, (which will be subject for a follow-up video).
You can check out their YT channel @EdibleAcres …

Little crazy , I didn’t like his nursery and commercial attitude..
they should just go at it and get over it
you don't need huge acreage to create a sustainable environment…people in NYC have rooftop gardens, and grow food on balconies
she is so beautiful !!
I really enjoy the sort of human side of this interview/overview of the garden.
This guy looks like Jordan Peterson
i believe the interviewer got a great axe.
That’s a real wet towel there. I’ve never seen a couple I would least rather sit next to on a plane.
I love your page. You ask the right questions.
I've started a small project.
When I see good vids like this I write and ask the author to consider adding Russian and Ukranian language captions, add "rebuild Ukraine" as a tag.
I'm looking for food videos, simple engines (i.e. Archimedes 6 simple engines and complex engines), no electricity required nor gas, and hopefully using up wartime debris. (I've asked some "roman roads" YouTubers to do the same. Ukraine is going to need a lot of roads rebuilt. Also, easy home sanitation, collecting and filtering drinking water, etc.
If you like the idea, spread the word.

whats the hosts name?
This is perfect timing I found this older video- so inspiring for my woodland garden planning this year- you have helped me develop an overall plan for how to beautify our acres.
I have a Green-cheek Conure parrot that's so concerned about Hawks he'll scream out my window and all the squirrels go ruining for cover!
Great garden style and great interview. Thanks for growing "Monarda punctata" and thank you for mentioning it by name. I've been trying to figure the name of it for 6 months. It used to be in one of my plant catalogues but has disappeared. Thanks again. Great work all around.
@Flock Finger Lakes, I am looking at these videos as I play my future garden to live off the land myself. Something I am interested in knowing is how do you manage Snakes? I ask this because I have a serious FEAR of Snakes which has caused much of my delay in trying to start, but I know for a fact I will do this no matter what. Any Advice you can Give regarding your challenge with snakes if any?
Beautiful❤
🙃
Sawdust is not a good mulch. Hey or stray or partially decomp leaves is better
This is a very odd tour. what happened to Sasha? Off you go out the way to check on the bread and we won't stop filming and wait for you to come back. How rude of them both. It was her land. Stopped watching.
Impressive!
where in the world is this garden located?
where is this ?
As a viewer, it would be so helpful to know the location of the gardens you show and their growing zone.
Stinging nettle can be cooked as greens. You boil them with a bit of vinegar, and then again in plain water. You have to do it 2-3x, and then serve with butter and salt. They're quite nice if they're picked young before they're woody.
You made me feel better… I too have noise issue ..and I want to move …with noise cones pollution….but 25 years creating a permaculture garden ….hard to leave…when I get really stressed over the noise I shall rewatch this video…you guys are fabulous….thankyou. best
Highbush Cranberries (38:29) and 'proper' cranberries are only similar in their common names. Highbush are viburnums, same family as honeysuckle. True cranberries are related to blueberries and heather. They need the acid soils. Viburnums, not so much.
Award for most awkward video goes to….. haha okay in all seriousness, I am loving these permaculture gardens. Can’t wait to have mine going.
You have really good channel. Im glad to watch new videos. You can raise the activity on the channel with G E T 4 V I E W S – no cheating, verified ads
