  1. I am so anxious to see if my feverfew and marshmallow comes back good from last year, those seeds I got from you. I have gotten my herb beds started cleaning them out, and all my seedlings are growing under the grow lights, I am so anxious to get my garden started as I know you are as well. We are suppose to be getting horse manure the first of April to help in our garden planting. Thank for the video dear friend, blessings

  2. I just learned about a herbicide called Grazon and Forefront that, if used by the hay farmers and fed to horses and cattle, the manure will be contaminated with broadleaf herbicide properties that will kill everything in your garden or at the least keep it from growing except corn and grass. Check with the hay farmers and let them know how dangerous those herbicides can be also. It can stay in the dirt for up to 5 years.

  3. Looking forward to planting this spring. We have had so much rain here in North Alabama it is unreal. The ground is going to have to do a lots of drying out before we can even get potatoes planted. Enjoyed the video and God Bless.

  4. Don’t you need a close pin on your nose?…hihihih..quick but informatif…i would have mixed the menure in the pots not on. Top…but it is logic to have it on top for the water to let drain the good stuff to the bottom…when are your going to put the grain’s in the pots?..,do you grow them first in a tiny pot before?…good work ….love your hat…

  5. I never realized you could put manure directly in the garden, or pots. Wonderful to learn this tidbit of information. Can you also add chicken manure directly to the garden? I've heard that it is very acidic.
Thank you sister for sharing this valuable information. God Bless your dear spirit.

  6. I can almost smell the holy basil. It's one of my favorite smells in the world! Hey, I noticed the comment below about the grazon (or any aminopyralid peristent herbicide) warning. I figured you guys know about it anyhow, but that stuff is nasty, becoming more widespread in hay production and survives digestion in livestock and consequent hot composting of the manure. I thought I'd mention it in case you didn't know, or if you did, in case the rest of your subscribers don't know.

  7. Our neighbors horses came in our yard and left us lots of "presents" lol. I'm not even mad! 😁 As soon as the snow melts, I'm moving it all into the garden.

  8. Makes sense to me! I’m praying my feverfew works this year. I’m going to try in a pot and see what that does. Plus with the move I don’t wanna out much in the ground. Anything in a pot I can take with! Still gotta have my hands in some dirt no matter what! LOL Love y’all! ~The Kid 💜

  9. Yikes, Heidi! We still have 2 feet of snow on the ground. I can't start anything for at least another month. I'm really looking forward to having a garden this year. We had a tiny one last year because we moved at the end of May. Hurry, Spring! Hurry!

  10. Hi Heidi, Great video. I was so happy to see how you refreshed your pots. I do the same thing with my basil and just let it re-seed like that and I always wondered if I was handling it correctly. So I was so happy to see you do the same thing!! I love your greenhouse. I would love to have something like that in our backyard. Maybe making something that would have a roof that could lift up to let out the hot air in the summer months. You have inspired me!! Love, Mary

  11. I appreciate these types of videos as someone new to gardening. I think often times people are so use to already knowing things they forget some people don't know the basics yet lol. So, thanks.
