Burying Fish Heads & Container Garden – Supporters Clip October 2016

Burying Fish Heads & Container Garden – Supporters Clip October 2016
Hi Folks. Just a quick look at a few jobbies I knocked off this afternoon & a bit of an update on the Root Pouch garden down the back.
Have been tied up with freight brokers trying to work out what went wrong with the latest Root Pouch order so haven’t done much around the place. Finally got that sorted today so will now be busy sorting out the back orders tomorrow which will be great. I love giving folks good news 👍😊

Hope you enjoy this bonus clip & your gardens are booming.
Cheers all. 🐟 🌱🍅

  1. Have you thought about putting the fish guts to harvest soldier fly larvae?

    Bucket full'o'guts.
30 degree angle ramp or tube with the end over the livestock tank
    Free fish food.

  2. Is that queen Ann's lace what you called the carrot plant, reason i ask is we have it here everywhere

  3. I remember learning something back in school where the Indians of New England planted their corn putting a dead fish in the hole with the kernel and covering it up, personally I'd prefer your method and keep the fish for one's dinner! 🙂

  4. 😎 , I like thos pots.

I also had a cool add at the start of video, real- Sthil.
Good brand is you need a chainsaw or weedwacker…
They do have a newer battery E-POWER line of tools too, no emissions!

  5. I put a couple strips of felt crossed in the bottom of the grow bag tub with one of the strips hanging out over the edge and hanging down a bit. Then if/when the tub gets filled, the felt will slowly wick out the water and the plants wont damp off. It also makes it so i can water anytime i want because i wont be able to overwater

  6. Make a maggot bin for fish and meet scraps , then you can feed the lave to both chooks and fish, there are a number of examples on how to make a bit on youtube, my chooks hang round waiting for the lave to exit the bin via the escape tube for a feed. High protein live food.
