I don’t mind answering some of the comments that you get. I watch your videos several times.
Robbie U R A Great Teacher Thank you 👋👍✌️
Relax and make your answer to all questions: "If something I do looks interesting or you have an idea of your own – try it, tweak it and play with it – see what happens!".
Thanks for the garden up date. I’m not one to worry if you can’t get to my question. However, a suggestion, if you are wanting to answer questions. Do a pre video and have people leave their question for the live show. You can look at the question at your leisure and answer however many you would like during live show, or none at all. Lol either way, I always enjoy your videos, you are such a positive person. Have a great week.
And yes! We'll talk amongst ourselves!!
I love the nuthatch birds, they come through here in the fall. I love your garden and I’m germinating my seed by your method.
Your videos are very disturbing to me. Now because of you I have totes filled with plants, I have pots filled with plants, now I have set up birdbaths for the birds. They were so hot here in TX heat last year and I felt horrible for them. This year they have solar powered fountains, I just put up my hummingbird feeders because I saw my first hummingbird this week. I don't have room to set up a chair garden but since I've become addicted to your videos, you have another copycat here. And…. I eat what I grow!
Keep a close eye on Kittie if you let her out in the yard like that.
I got my first 2 solar fountains/pumps Saturday just like yours. Excited to set-up Monday.
Sow some clumping bamboo and you will have stakes for a life time.
Just ignores us when you do a livestream
Love listening to you and looking your garden. You makes it seem so ease. Honestly don't now why gardening is so intimidating to me. Absolutely love your isea of using totes. Many blessings to you and your family.
Some summers I grow red amaranth just for the beauty of it. I don't cut it down at the end of the season. Then in fall and winter birds come to eat the seed heads when food is scarce.
It is a busy time of year for most You can stop 'chat' so you can read, but, it really takes two people, one to watch chat and relay to you, the host, the questions for your answer,
I'll stop asking how many years it takes to grow an apple tree from a seed, I found the answer from another channel. The reason I ask, I'm 80, I'm wondering if I would get to taste those apples!
Love ur update 😊 i miss small birds but have not seen them in my suburb for decades
You're such a pleasure to hear. You've always got so much energy and positivity. Love the bird plant markers! Now I wish I had gotten different colored totes, other than grey!
Someday, in one of your videos, can you talk about what plants you put in different sized containers, and how many in each?
Can you walk us through (show us) the vegetables? Cause what I see is a bunch of empty plastics.
OMG those totes looks beautiful and colorful, I'm with you too I like it 80 degrees , unfortunately I'm in Ohio so we have a way to go yet.
Robbie, let people ask questions before you do the live. Let it be like 5 or 10 of the most liked questions in the comment section. Do another short video to tell about it and collect the questions from.
Or you could ask for them under your community tab? If we have a question, we can put it in. If we don't we can just vote by liking one from another sub. I've seen in person how many comments come in during a live chat and how fast they fly by, I wouldn't attempt to answer any, for fear of motion sickness! 🙃❤
Do the 2 of you really use all that produce yourself? Do you take some to farmers markets too?
Thank you Robbie , we so much appreciate your updates and the time you take. Love your garden walk through talks .🧡
I'm starting to see some white crowned sparrows. I get the red breasted nutatch all winter and they are pretty tame just like Chickadees ☺
I'm getting redpolls also now.
I get my seed at the bird supply store in my nearest city.
Haven't seen a Goldfinch since Nov or Dec 😔 so I will have to throw out my nyjer seed. There's apparently a disease with them somewhere in the USA. 😢
I try and keep my feeders clean and maintained to keep my birds healthy.
Love your videos and don't feel obligated to answer questions. Most questions are answered by your video if watched in its entirety and even the comments have information also. 👍
You're doing awesome ☺ Take care you guys and your wee pup 🐶 ♥
I love your enthusiasm! Thank you for your videos!
The nuthatch came up to you to say Thank you for the habitat you've created for him!
Really enjoying your channel ! We have lots of growing challenges here, and will give some of your super ideas a go. I'm not sure why you compost in the tote and in pots separately. Just wondering why you just don't plant in the tote ? Thank you to you and your husband for sharing.
You're doing a great job Robbie! I hope no one else complains and will do as you asked. Sharing tios with each other is a wonderful idea! I think most of us just appreciate the valuable information you and Gary so graciously provide.
Love your care of wild birds Robbie. I’m a wildlife carer in Australia and although some have the theory that feeding old life is not good as they depend on you I found with a lot of observations over many years. That is you feed the wild birds natural food then they only use it when they are hungry and it doesn’t exist in the wild once their food in the wild is there they don’t come. With all the rain we have had lately I have been keeping food out for the honey eaters There were so many in our yard fighting over the bowls but as soon as the rain stopped and the sun came out the nectar in the wild flowers came back they stopped coming.
Beautiful rainbow 🌈 garden 🪴. Love all you share 🙏❤️🌈🌻 Have a wonderful day 😊
Is it possible to disable comments? That way no one can comment. Just a thought! ♥️
That story about your 3 year old grandson was HILARIOUS! Thanks for sharing Robbie. 🙂
Dear Robbie, you do whatever works for you! We are so fortunate for what you share with us and the pleasure that you bring to all those that watch and enjoy you, your garden, your animals and everything! Thank you so much.😍
in there any issue with a DARK Tupperware bin like dark blue or black ones with getting TOO HOT?? My neighbor told me not to use my big black ones I got at Costco, bummed.
Were also getting. TON of the beautiful white crowns sparrows here in Ojai CA, love them <3 when do they leave our area? and when do they usually return?
I prefer videos. I don’t like trying to read all those comments zipping by…frustrating. I like your videos, you have so much fun with your garden. 😁
I love the plant labels, too. I've made some for my gardens. I'm so ready to retire, so I can garden more! Ugh. Sorry, I'm not a fan of the live feeds. I'll just watch these recordings. 🙂
Hi I just found your videos and thoroughly enjoy them I live in Jimboomba Qld Australia our weather is very dry and hot most months so I am starting to use pots instead of planting in the ground found everything is really growing well specially roses so I subscribed will look forward to your videos love your fur baby and wild birds have a great day
was wondering if you other than papaya trees have you ever intentionally grown or will be growing fruit trees in containers? I was considering doing this with some trees that I wanted to keep potted but wanted to use 18 gallon sterlite totes but wondered if they would hold up for long enough?
