WOW🍅 Tons of BIG Tomatoes on Tiny Patio Tomato Plant Container Gardening Balcony Vegetable Gardening

Growing determinate tomato plants, Growing food Vegetable plants on a deck balcony terrace garden. Growing in totes and chairs, flower pots, dishpan, trash can, food containers, flora pots and whatever I can recycle to use to grow plants. Determinate tomatoes are varieties that grow to a fixed mature size and ripen all their fruit in a short period (usually about two weeks). Once their first flush of fruit has ripened, the plant will begin to diminish in vigor and will set little to no new fruit, as many state, BUT I have had a few start over.

  1. I Live in Florida had the same plants it grew a little taller l had tomatoes all year they were on the discount rack l have rooted cuttings and they are producing already plus I have seedlings from the same l am testing it out Ma' Ma La Rosa 🤶

  2. I have those dish pans in black and white as well. I love starting in them growing my lettuce etc in them.
💛🥗💛 looking forward to your ideas

  3. Wow! There’s more tomato than plant!🤣🤣🤣 If they taste that good, I’ll have to look for them. I’ve always gardened in raised beds, but I’m going to be moving this summer. Thanks to you and your awesome gardening methods, I’m getting my totes all set up so that I’ll be able to take my garden with me when I move. I’m going to pick up some dishpans tomorrow and get some lettuce growing in them. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next! ❤️

  4. Robbie, did you accidentally create a tiny tomato plant that produces average-sized tomatoes? Sounds like a marketable land race to me – the Robbie Tomato!
Btw, I've put tulle on two of my squash plants and the SVB is quite irritated. She's leaving clusters of eggs on the vines I haven't gotten to yet. Brilliant! ~ Lisa

  5. Hi Robbie hello fellow gardeners 👋 I found the seeds for this tomato on amazon they exact same thing. They are sold by: HOMETOWN SEEDS. I did order w packs I will let you know how they grew and taste once I get them and start growing them. So excited!!🐾🐾🥦🍅🌱🍅🌱🍅👍😊

  6. Didn't know you could get the same plant as a hybrid with cuttings….this is amazing!!!!

  7. Are you worried about the new water restrictions? I'm getting worried and I don't know how my plants are going to survive. I live in zone 10 A.

  8. Robbie do you use the brown paper that comes as packing in so many of our orders? I want to use it like toilet paper rolls in the bottom of my tubs have you tried it or used it?

  9. Robbie help. I'm growing bush beans for the first time. I'm in zone 10a Florida. Every time I try to put the plants into the sun, the leaves wilt quickly. Right now it's only leaves. It doesn't wilt in dappled sun. Will I still get beans without full sun? I just love those dwarf tomatoes… So cute. I love the dish pan planters idea.

  10. Such a great video.. thanks for sharing. I have learned so much from you over the padt few years and now I'm seeing other channels doing what youve been doing and teaching and acting like they just created something new🙄🤦‍♀️

  11. Lol, Kitty is looking for her broccoli, I know that tomatoe tasted great.

  12. Robbie, can you briefly explain how to use dish pans? No holes? Is the concept like your seed starting method in containers without holes? Thanks

  13. Are used your idea with the Tool fabric and it worked really well to keep the rabbits from eating my geraniums thank you for that idea last five plants in one night in the new place I’m living brought my geraniums from my older house and became dinner for all the rabbits

  14. The 11 tomato plant is doing better than my beefsteak full size tom plant in container from a few years ago when I didn't know what I was doing. Too small pot when I didn't know better. That's awesome for a tiny plant! Totally worth it for small plant! Seems like the plant with fewer toms gets slightly less sun. They are in partial shade when you filmed.

  15. My tomato leaves are curled since I transplanted it. It seems like you have spoken about this but I can’t find the video. Would you tell me the answer or which video it is.

  16. To avoid bug problems right from the start—place / drape tulle over seeds/seedlings immediately after planting before bugs can fly or creep into your tote or planter bins – after they’re in , it’s hard to get rid of them or their eggs – be sure to allow enough tulle to accommodate grown plants in your mini protected “hothouse” .
