Maybe I’m crazy but I really found some of the landscape kind of boring for such a big and beautiful but entirely white house, I would’ve liked to see much more wildflower type of plants. Imagine echinacea varieties in contrast with the White House would be so so beautiful!! I loved a lot of the trees and shrubs especially but I guess to me this could be an amazing native pollinated space and I know people find that messy at times to look at though I’m not sure why, but I think that would be just stunning to have more flowering plants or rather more variety and stacking of them. I don’t get having 20 evergreen phlox and then 20 dianthus etc etc., it’s just sort of drab to me in that number and all in one section.
