I am from the Caribbean , a Small Island , and I have been told that in many ways the climate in Texas is much like or similar to the Caribbean , Yes we get Hurricanes and we have Humidity , we can get very chilly in the winters, but for us that would be December and January … But Thank the Lord God , no Snow. but some light frost if live up in the hills of the islands. So back to my Question , Can You Grow Tropical Fruits.??/ Ninette Bird- The Caribbean Wife- CaLi.
