DIY Pathway with Drainage | Walkway with Pavers

Finally! No longer do we have to walk through sloppy, wet mud to get into our backyard/house! We lost our fence due to a hurricane a few months ago, when we had it replaced we decided to move the gate, for easier access, to the end of the fence. Because of this, we had to walk through grass (usually muddy because it rains often) which wasn’t ideal. So we decided to build a pathway that can also hold water when it rains without flooding! We already had a huge rainstorm (what else is new) and all of our sidewalks and street was flooded, but guess what wasn’t? OUR PATHWAY!! 🙂 Hope y’all love it!

  1. This is my 5th time watching this video and I’m finally going to buy my supplies and give it a try this weekend lol

  2. You have some great information here but the audio is so bad. You should seriously consider getting some lav mic's and it will get rid of that echo you're getting from the built in mic. I would check out Rode Wireless Go 2 system, it'll give your videos a much more professional sound.

  3. Omg! You two are amazing with your totally elaborate, detailed beautiful explanation and execution of a DIY DRAINAGE SIDEWALK. Love it! And thank you for the detailed information!

  4. Hi! Can you use the same methods to do this for a driveway? Great vid☺️👍🏼

  5. I would love try and instal something like this but I am afraid there will be a lot of weed growth. What’s the solution to prevent weed growth in this type of installation?

  6. Is it okay to this if one side of the area is the house and the other side is concrete walk way? We have small grass area between the house and a walk way and would love to put something there that’s pretty like yours and that would keep the grass from growing crazy.

  7. Hi there. Did you guys pickup the pavers or did you make them yourselves? Video was informative and thinking of this as a project for the summer.

  8. Looks great! How are those pavers holding up in the last year? We are considering doing something very similar!

  9. Thank you! You made the steps really easy, and fun, to follow along! We start our paver project tomorrow!

  10. Great Video!! How’s are the weeds doing ? I did something similar but without gravel and it got filled up with weeds pretty quick. 😅

  11. Love the vid. You guys should be 1M in the next two years!! Thank you so much for the instruction. It seems daunting but now I'm confident I can do this myself.

  12. Looks so nice🥰 I want that too, and I didn't know that making a pathway with pebbles and pavers is so tedious😄.

  13. Looks like the extra gravel we have will be put to great use! Thanks for your time in putting this video (and project) together!

  14. Love this y’all. Turned out really great. During the big reveal.. I was really counting on that spec on the lense being gone. Haha I was like Awh mannn. Subbed

  15. I love the video guys it’s really helpful however I struggled with getting what was happening on the ground as the clips of the actual work were too short and the camera kept coming back to you guys. It would have helped if you talked over the video and showed more of what was happening on the ground. I hope my feedback is received positively.
