  1. great tips. All of my tomatoes are in containers and my peppers are all in small raised beds. I am interested in trying my strawberries in containers so I can grow year-round. I also have my basil in containers. Always a pleasure watching your vids!

  2. Thinking about it, I would replace Zucchinis with lettuce. Little bowls or arrangements of different colored lettuce is simple awesome!  Put that Zucchini in a garden bed and let it go wild!

  3. omg, STOP SHAKING THAT POOR LITTLE BASIL PLANT! LOL!

But, Seriously, nice video… I only grow my tomatoes in containers so I can bring them under shelter every time it hails… which was three times in one Spring! It saved their lives and I received a great bounty in return. I was sad when they finally perished at the end of the season, but then I moved them out where the deer could feed on the remaining stalks/leaves. It was a gift to move them through their circle of life! Thanks!

  4. i make everything into self-watering containers when they are large enough to do so. BUT i have acquired a number of 3.5 gallon icing buckets. these are too short for self-wayering. HOW DO YOU prepare this size bucket for veg gardening? would it be ok to put the drain holes about an inch up the side instead on bottom, so it would retain a bit of water?
