  1. very useful information thank you so much. Only thing is that it would have been more clear if shown what he is doing rather than just talking through

  2. Loved this!
My own garden has no pots either.
I have lovely shrubs, some small trees, climbers…..all sorts of precious and perfect blooms 😊
It's my sanctuary and my joy 💕

  3. Lovely garden – everything in my back yard is in pots too. Love the wormery, I need to look into this! Thank you.

  4. Beautiful video I always enjoy looking at the gardens you display. I am a big fan of growing in pots because I have a big dog so I have to have everything raised. I enjoyed this video thank you so much for creating it. I Garden in California zone 9B. 😘❤️💜💙💚

  5. Just beautiful!!! Lovely greetings from Germany 🌻🌻🌻🇩🇪

  6. We had the same experience. We bought the house and on the side they had cement, turf, and a pile of sand. There was animal poo in the turd and it had mildew under it when we moved it and the cloth. Now we have some in ground plants and potted plants.

  7. I can't think of a landlord who would allow you to do what you did "unless" they had fake grass. (all those pots would have destroyed a real lawn) My climate here (I'm in the interior of British Columbia, Canada) wouldn't make that many containers practical. We are on extended periods of water rationing throughout our summers because of the heat and lack of rain. The idea of having to find the room to lug all those pots indoors to overwinter them is impossible as well. (I have trouble taking in my few clay pots to stop the freezing temps from destroying them) That only leaves the option of buying new plants every year. At $10/$20 per bear root perennial or $25.00 for a 13" annual planter, it's fiscally impossible as well. Jealous! because the yard does look lovely.

  8. Beautiful garden. My problem is that my landlady has OCD so most of my plants have to live behind our unit (we actually live in her back garden which is all gravel and paving). But I currently have 6 pots out the front and am hoping to add another 4, I am ensuring all my pots are the same colour/size/design as well. I wish I could incorporate some of your ideas as shown here but somehow I can't see them being allowed. So I'm aiming purely for a smallish herb garden with maybe some ornamental grasses as well.

  9. Wonderful and inspiring! Thanks for sharing. Some great ideas there. I found it interesting that you Londoners have to water your containers just as vigorously in the middle of summer as we do here in Perth, Western Australia.

  10. My garden is all containers , It's my pride and joy. I have a mix of trees and perennials. It's an expensive hobby.
