  6. Enjoyed video. Time to start gearing up for spring planting in SE Texas. I planted my tomato seeds Sunday(maybe a little early). Planted 36 different varieties this year. If you need any tomato seeds just let me know. I have extra. Everything from dwarfs to determinates and indeterminates, hybrids, to heirlooms.

  7. If you cut the papaya about a foot from the ground it will most likely regrow with several new stems (just mulch it really good if you have a frost) . The green papaya is also edible. Some use it for grated for salad and some boil it for savory dishes like soup. It’s like chayote.

  8. Nice to see your sweet face again, it’s been awhile. Thought maybe you got out of the gardening scene. You got your work cut out for you. Just planted , beets, chard, spinach, parsnips, lettuce . To cold yet for beans or peas.

  9. Hi Daisy! I was so hoping you would get a ripe papaya. ☹️ I grew up eating papaya, but my mom would make a spicy papaya salad with unripened papaya. So good!

  10. And your back is sore from dragging all the pots back in the garage right now lol . Happy new years Rahlie!
