I'm not gonna be able to make it to this premiere. But I will catch it afterwards.
Man that was a quick one Jules lol. The Deluxe Tractor Scoot from Gardener's Supply is like a Fred Flinstone car. You can sit sideways to your garden and scoot your feet to move up and down the length of your beds. It has a tray under the seat and a wire basket on the back. You can stear by the expandable handle so you can pull it like a wagon. It holds 400 lbs. but only weighs 37. The basket holds 5 lbs. of weight and it holds a 3 1/2 tubtrug. or a 5 gallonn pail. They have a video on their website so you can see how it is used. It is pretty cool! Anything to save me from being constantly being bent over. I like the Premier! Take care, stay safe my friend!
You are making good progress here and I like how you explain everything you plan to do. The flashback to 2019 was interesting. Oh that broccoli looks good. Manure is great. Love the bloopers lol. Hugs
Thanks for the great video my friend 👍
Great video. You are going to have a lot of happy plants for sure. So jealous that you are out there already. We still have a foot of snow to melt away before we can even see the raised beds lol. Happy gardening. Steph and Chris
Hey, looks good to me. Doing a great job. Sorry i missed the premiere. I was dealing with some more roosters.
I amend basically the same way but here in Kentucky we get what's called black cow. Happy gardening Jules :-):-):-)
You’re doing an awesome job there! I’m going to try to grow collard greens this year! I was able to get radishes, carrots, spinach, lettuces, Pok Choi and garlic in today. It felt so good to put things in the ground! We also planted 120 onions sets and 22 strawberries. You’ve come a long way Jules! ❤️
South Garden is looking pretty! I believe you motivated me to go gather my own Daddy Pete’s 😂Fertilizer…. Thankyou very much, dry enough now.. It’s going to be a nice garden there… Have a wonderful rest of the week..
good job brother ,, thank you for sharing your tips and experiences in vegetable gardening ,,
success is always for you ..
Looks great 👍
Awesome show today, are use calamine or also as a fertilizer it’s the perfect natural fertilizer for so many different vegetables and fruits. You use the 10-10-10 fertilizer I think that’s great for your vegetable garden. I also use chicken manure in my garden
thanks for all the info I might have to dig up some grass this year for garden space
Looks like a good garden plan. I use a lot of chicken manure in my garden as well. I wish I had leaves to use. Kinda scarce out here in the desert. Some good advice here. Thank you!
Thanks for the info. The weather is looking pretty good out there
Good information for us less skilled folk!
Great information and tips! Nice harvest! Have a great week!🤗🌱
thanks for the info I'll keep that in mind Cya next time
Hey Jules finally got a chance to watch this. If I had your gardens I would run a tractor thru the whole thing. Add 1000 pounds of Calcium sulfate dihydrate to break up the clay. Work in around 2000 pounds of well composted horse poop. Plant a cover crop of Daikon Radish. LOL You asked. Jules, seriously I love your garden. You remind me of what it was like to go out and enjoy the day putting in a garden. Don't get me wrong I like my garden but somewhere I got greedy and now I don't spend the day in the garden it's 8 months. Maybe one day I will get smart. Thanks for the tour. I'll see you at the draft.
Lots in this video. Back story and FWD things that’s coming. Love it Man. You really done a great job in detail. I usually do peppers, maters, squash & zucchini. But if possible this season I’ll expand into corn, watermelon, garlic, pumpkin & cantaloupe.
I love Cherokee purple. They did so good. I didn’t prune back last yellow you and they split when the rain started good.
Y’all are staying busy great video!
Thanks for the info. The weather is looking pretty good out there tfs
Hey, Jules, I am so jealous. My containers are still semi-frozen. Hopefully, by the weekend they will be thawed. Hopefully, my collard greens popped up soon, if not, I will have to resow the seeds. You have to take a break and enjoy your hard work while quenching your thirst. You got a lot of work done, but work in the garden is never done. Brussel sprouts and greens in March. That is so good. I am all containers. Thanks for sharing. Peace.
I may have to look into finding some of that Daddy Peats- that PermaTill ingredient sounds interesting and if it really repels voles… wow! Thanks for sharing your garden prep with us… makes me eager for spring!! Happy gardening Jules!
Looks like you are almost ready for the season. I'm getting a truck load of aged cow manure tomorrow. Hopefully that helps the clay turn to a better medium. I can't wait to start planting. Camera drop was hilarious 🤣
Wow Jules, your garden has come a long way over the year. Well done on such great work, I look forward to seeing all your harvests xx Cathi xx
A bit early to do much planting around here. Snow yesterday and today with an overnight low of 13F. It's great that your getting things going already!
Fantastic! I have to get through the Maple Sugaring season, then I can concentrate on starting my seeds. Thanks for sharing. – Rick
Hey, team member. What's up? I loaded my car down will soil again but this time I didn't get stuck in the mud. Or bust a tire. So that's always good.
We just bought a home in Gastonia and since you and I are in the same zones/ areas, your video is have been GREAT advice!! I appreciate it and look foreword to seeing your garden flourish!
That heavy clay area could use another bag or 2 of cow manure or maybe 1 bag each of cow manure and potting mix. 🙂 Need a good amount of organic materials to get into the clay to broken it up. The area to the right of it is looking good tho'. I get something like if I dig down about 5 or 6 inches in the back yard. The soil in my front yard isn't very good so I will be doing a cover crop experiment with it this year to see if I can improve it. The shady spot you have would be a good spot for growing lettuce during the summer if you're looking for ideas. 🙂
