  1. When container gardening tomato plants need at least a 5 gallon pot and larger for better results. Great informative video.

  2. These are some amazing ideas! I love dollar tree for my outdoor veggie garden and I hadn’t considered some of the things for my indoor plants. The clippers are probably my best dollar tree buy and they would be the last thing intuitively that you would think would be any good. I’ve bought expensive clippers and the always end up rusted and dull anyway. The dollar tree ones last just as long and don’t break like you would think.

  3. I am going to dollar tree tomorrow. I had no idea they had so much!. I live in the Bronx so I should keep my fingers crossed…the shelves might be kind of barren

  4. Thanks for all the information, didn’t realize Dollar Tree had so many items for plants/gardening. There is no store locally but 30 miles from me, next time I get to the bigger city I will go there. Appreciate all your tips!

  5. She said "stupid fungus gnats" LMAO that is exactly how I feel about them.

  6. These are great recommendations for people that would like to have lots of plants but have limited budgets for gardening items. These items are usually incredibly overpriced as it is.
But that been said, and referring specifically to planting pots, people shouldn’t strive to buy “disposable” plastic pots. That’s just not the best option. I understand commerce using plastic pots because they manage such large amounts of plants, but regular people aren’t in that boat. Also plastic releases chemicals (like BPA) that aren’t healthy for anything alive surrounding those pots.
Most people into plants are (or should be) into protecting the environment and health oriented, and disposable plastic isn’t really a sustainable or a healthy option, regardless of how “good quality” that plastic is. There are places out there like TJ Maxx and Ross where you can buy ceramic pots at very discounted prices and already with saucers attached. I know they cost more than just $1, but I feel like no one that cares for the environment and prefer healthy options should be striving for disposable $1 items.
Even if we just think about looks, plastic doesn’t even “age” that well and has to be replaced much faster than ceramic or terracotta. Just saying. Skip the plastic all alone. It’s really not a great option.

  7. You just saved me so much money with this video! So many of my plants have outgrown their pots and I was dreading having to pay 10-20 bucks each! Subscribed!! ❤️❤️❤️

  8. Oh wow, I didn't know Dollar Tree sold TC pots! I've never seen them. I will keep an eye out next year.

  9. Wow. Very useful information! Thank you so much. I’m living on SS and need all the deals I can get.

  10. i bought these small, glass jars that are so adorable. it comes in a bag, there aremseven tiny jars, and they have cute, brown corkscrews … you'd think they'd be useless. if you fill them up with water, you can turn them upside down and the water won't fall out, unless you shake it, so that gave me the idea of using it to propagate. i ended up getting tiny stems of succulents at lowes, along with small stems of creeping jenny and mint, and it worked! i recommend those if you like tiny items!

  11. When your dolor tree doesn’t sell plant stuff

  12. thanks for the video! I definitely wouldnt have thought to buy shears at dollar tree, but totally beats Ace hardware 10+ bucks!!

  13. No way they have plastic nursery pots? Not even Lowe’s and hd have them. I had to buy mine on Amazon for way more than a few dollars

  14. Same for .99 cent store also if you have one near you. It's also with checking out local non-chain dollar stores also to see what they carry , as well as Dollar General. Dollar General store is more expensive but still can find some materials there that are cheaper than retail store

  15. Would hydrogen peroxide kill my Isopods? 😓 having a fungus gnat problem in my terrarium 😔

  16. Not that my dollar store looks like a tornado aftermath. This video was very nice, thank you 🙂

  17. Fish fertilizer and blood meal are the worst! I really enjoyed your video. Think I will subscribe. I bet I will learn a lot from watching you!

  18. Thank you for the tips!! This really helped me a lot especially for being a beginner. your video help ❤️ very wholesome as well

  19. Nice! I wonder if they have the plates to sit the pots in to catch the excess water and soil. But im definitely going to check that out. I recently purchased an aloe vera plant☺☺

  20. I love your channel! I’m definitely going to get the chalkboard stickers. I’ve never seen them before.
