Planting Fall Vegetables in the Kitchen Garden | Raised Bed Gardening | Season 8 Ep 83

Today here at Elizabeth Huskey Richey on YOUTUBE I’m bringing you along while I clean up some old summer stuff in the kitchen garden here in northeast Arkansas and then together we’ll plant fall crops. I’m planting broccoli, cabbage and collards which I plan to cover with insect netting until our first frost and before frost comes I’ll cover them with a low tunnel, which is row hoops and 3ml plastic.

WHO IS Elizabeth Huskey Richey:
Just a hippie-like, spiritual woman who has a large blended family in Arkansas and works to juggle organic gardening in a whimsy cottage garden with edible landscaping, running a Bookkeeping Firm from home (email me if you’d like help with your Quickbooks Online!) and making time for self-care and spiritual growth, taking time to live in the present, enjoying traveling, flowers and a good book along the way!

  1. Hi, thank you SO MUCH for sharing your knowledge as always. Your videos have absolutely helped me become a better gardener. I see you left the Sage in the ground. Any tips on when/how to harvest this? I reside in an apartment, and my outdoor sage always seems to die along with my broccoli plants every year.

  2. I love it!! This is so much fun. I'm so thankful your back is so much better. You have a little battle between bugs and kittens getting your pretty plants. HA Love ya!!!
