Today we will take a walk from Kensington High Street in West London, through an upscale residential area and explore the Kyoto Garden in Holland Park.

    I have lived in London all my 76 years and yes it has many really beautiful and pleasant places to walk in and also when Napolean made the derogatory statement that we Brits are just a nation of SHOPKEEPERS and he wasn't wrong but what amazing shops and variety.
    London has dug itself out of the mire of the dreadful bomb damage after WW2 to the amazing city that it is today.
    Sampo and others can only give you a flavour and only a small one of what London has to offer.
    Even those other none central areas have their disitnctive character but are rarely visited by tourists.
    The main negative however is that even those less desireable areas are very expensive with a typical nice 2 bed apartment in, say North London will set you back anything upto £400k+ at a minimum.
    But that is the price we pay to live in this vibrant metropolis with really good transport links and infinite choice of facilities, eateries etc.

    Beautiful park but I would go at a time when it was less crowded and wear a mask. I’m surprised at the number of recent videos of London with so few people wearing masks.

    At 8 Mins 20 the house on the corner behind the trees is where Robbie Williams from the band Take That lives he bought it from the widow of Michael Winner the former film producer and the house to the left with the tower is where Jimmy Page guitarist from Led Zepplin lives. Also in the area nearby Simon Cowell, Gary Barlow, David Beckham and Queen guitarist Brian May also live.

    I used to love the area and would still go if I could walk. I was trying to remember were they had Peacocks ? 
    Perhaps the gardens have been remodelled

    Looks too crowded and not enough space to social distance, hardly anyone wearing masks. That's why virus greater in UK than Japan.

    Oh, I wished you had taken a slight detour and walked around Edwardes Square; IMO the prettiest square in London.
    Yes to your title of being expensive. There's a house for sale in Ilchester Place for £32m, reduced from £35m!
