Ojufa profits from Digits to All project and learns about cultivating vegetables.
The Ojufa household are participants in the four month long “Digits to All” pilot project funded by Amadeyr Cloud Limited. The focus of the pilot is to disseminate information using technology. Using a simple touch screen tablet, households can learn about: health issues; education; agriculture (also poultry/ fish/cattle farming); and general information such as government services/their rights/ and small enterprise development. The majority of the information on the tablet is in audio/visual form so that semi literate and illiterate persons can easily understand the content.
Ojufa has five children and is the main income earner in the family. She learned how to grow vegetables such as spinach and squash. She also learned about poultry (duck and chicken) and cattle farming.
