Impact of Coronavirus on Food Supply Chain | Innovative Farmers | Gardening and Biochar | Food Slain

Hey Food Slayers!
This week’s episode is critical if you are growing food…I’ve interviewed the Char-Man of the Board of Blue Sky Biochar, Michael Wittman. He shares some really great information in the interview that can help ANYONE striving to grow food at home.

He talks about how biochar can help create “living soil” and how our food variety profiles have diminished due to industrial farming. So make sure to head over to https://foodslain.com or listen in here https://pod.co/food-slain/biochar-interview-w-michael-wittman

On another note, something interesting is beginning to happen with the food supply chain…..smaller farmers are beginning to pivot and bring products direct to the consumer. This is very exciting because food is being wasted, farmers are being hit pretty hard and many have had to become very innovative with their distribution model.
