  1. I like that pot in new garden moved to the front like you showed us, then some bigger stuff at the back x Jeff going fab ๐Ÿ‘Œ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ job xx

  2. Simply gorgeous!! Please, please share how to have success with meteor shower verbena. I can not get them to germinate and grow on. ๐Ÿ˜’

  3. I have a friend who grew wld senna this past summer. She said the butterflies preferred it. It is tall and wispy with tny yellow flowers. Ordered seed and a couple have germinated in the greenhouse

  4. I ordered unrooted cuttings of passion fruit vine. They are supposed to be easy to root but I read not to use rooting hormone as it would make the leaves fall off. They are a butterfly host

  5. For every Texas gardener who survived the summer, congratulations. It was hard. From what I hear, people had bizarre weather all over, I feel for them too. Let's hope for better weather next year or, at least, some plants that can survive whatever happens.

  6. I don't have a shrub for my climbing rose, but I do have a tree that looks like a shrub…lol. It's a Christmas Holly. I didn't want a structure either for my climbing rose. Didn't know there were structures like that, I am going to check it out, since I am looking to relocate my rose to another shrub or maybe on my fence as well. My Dahlias didn't do too well either. I am going to give it a bother shit in a cooler location. Great video!

  7. Beautiful your mums ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜. Lucky you are i n Texas . The snails ate all of my mums. Here in Vienna Austria zone 7b.

  8. You have a very beautiful garden , so bright and colourful . Thank you for sharing your experiences and all things concerning plants, flowers and gardening. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  9. I just wonder if they will get enough sun when using a shrub as trellis. I just think they would be so leggy

  10. Obedient plant is a beautiful native that pollinators love! It can be very prolific though, smart choice to add it to the trough.

  11. I don't know if you've seen any videos from Erin The Impatient Gardener. She also has clematis growing throughout her gardens and they grow throughout the trees and shrubs. That could be a good resource.
So sorry about your dahlias. Mine started out bug infested and then my staking didn't work out too well either. But here we are in October and I keep cutting blooms. We're in for 32 degrees this week and I'll be glad to cut them down. I'm going to let them stay in the ground and what comes back, I'll try again.
My beauty berry seemed to take a long time to purple up this year but by the end of the season the berries are pretty much gone. I do have time though that I could have cut some branches but it never occurred to me. Another reason I like watching your videos, inspiration!!
    Jeff did a great job๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘.

  12. Hard to believe it's October, already! Your gardens are still looking good, and Jeff did a great job filming. Absolutely love the maple and willow trees. As a child, our front yard was full of maple trees and weeping willows (NY state), so seeing them brought back good memories. The monarch butterflies are everywhere in our garden, too. I have a part of our garden dedicated to them by growing the native milkweed plant. I must have had thirty caterpillars chewing away outside! There's nothing left of the leaves, just long stalks. Several of them have already spun themselves into their cocoons and, hopefully, they will emerge soon as new butterflies. Yikes, that cold front is finally coming to TX, but we aren't expecting any freezing temperatures down here. Stay warm…

  13. Loved seeing all the butterflies, especially on the zinnias. I love zinnias. I also love lantana. I have several varieties that are doing well right now. I did not plant the lavender lantana this year. I find that the yellow trailing lantana blooms better for me.
