  1. I think everyone is going to raise more food this year. I know I am. Trying a lot of different things in pots as well myself. God bless y’all.

  2. Those dogs playing just made me smile! How sweet! Thank you both for the video. My husband and I are just starting raised bed gardening and are excited! All the best!

  3. Everybodies garden plans have changed! Lol. I'm trying to figure out what and where I can add to my tiny front yard garden. Wondering if I can plant carrots on the outside of the rows of tomatoes and peppers without harming either one and what other things I can tuck in here and there to maximize the little bit of room I do have!

  4. We are doing a little earth gardening here this year as well. We can't do the 'big' garden that way because it stayed so wet we couldn't get in to plant on time. Good luck!!

  5. My husband and I are starting our first garden ever! Excited to see what happens and learn from it. Wish me luck!

  6. YAY! Y'all are going to love your in ground garden. We have 2: a 24 x 45 and a 100 x 100 plus a huge raised bed (old house foundation) flower beds and tubs.

  7. What my 3 Aunt's did is plant thornless blackberries on the side of their garden the side where it is next to the cow field. This has worked for 45 years. FYI THEY LIVE 30 MILES FROM YOUR HOME. I will keep the secrete..

  8. Excited for you all! I planted my first lemon grass plant along with lemon verbena. I’m trying lots of new things this year. Hope you all are doing well. Let’s remember to pray for one another. 🌷

  9. Bigger gardens are the way to go. It takes less time to care for the garden than it takes to drive, shop and earn the money to drive and shop.

  10. Whoowee girl what's sad is I been watching u so long I remember when you planted those chives. So glad u tilled that lawn and next yr those chickens can fertilze the in ground garden

  11. You have a incredible view, you guys are incredible people. Love ❤️ the garden’s!!!🙏🌞💐from Gretna VA

  12. Yay! More garden space is always a good thing. I hope you have a successful and bountiful garden this year.

  13. I think I’ve been watching too many of your videos preparing for the garden 🤣 the music started and my two year old sang “water, sunshine!”

  14. Irish potatoes are going to be expensive and sparingly so you may want to plant some and put in a darkroom. Thanks

  15. I’m excited to see how the cattle panel work with the tomatoes…. mine get out of hand and over grow…. I don’t know what Luke does with those seeds… they are great producers!

  16. My garden plans change daily. I've got all my seeds but buy my tomato, pepper, cabbage etc. plants from the Mennonite community near us. I hope we can do that again this year.

  17. I expanded my garden this year before all this happened I tripled my space for beds. My husband doesn’t know it yet but this fall we are expanding the other direction to make it wider. What my son doesn’t know is that we will have to rearrange some of the raised beds and the tires because where they sit I am doing an earth garden. But I am following my own rule that I tell new gardeners grow each year. I have everything in now and everyday I see things sprouting, we have been eating fresh lettuce for a few weeks now too. I changed my tomatoes plan for this year, I had planned to get two cherry and two slicing tomato plants and three Roma, with everything going on and people going nuts in our local stores I went with one slicing and four Roma so I can make and can more spaghetti sauce, salsa and other tomato products. I did plant a Cherokee Purple for my slicing tomatoes. And we will be getting my greenhouse done this year so I can start everything from seed next December.
