Why is the pregnant lady shoveling?? Come on guys!
I know it's just for camera demo but – how can you allow your pregnant wife to dig that soil?? Cringe…
Don’t use a 2’square measure corner to to corner…. what not to do 🤦🏻♂️!!!
Wow, they had a pregnant woman out there shoveling. This show is hardcore.
You made it look so easy.
Yeah there not sweating at All smh show the real workers behind this?! Lol
How do you do the lines? Just skipped over that part.
Would love to see a video using the brock paverbase system.
What was the total cost?????
How much labour cost?Curious
The pavers look amazing. That's a strong woman.
That"s it put the pretty pregnant women to work. The job looks great. Fair video. I like more detail.
Ty!!!!!!
Why is the pregnant homeowner digging!?!?! I laugh but I'm serious!
He said no bricks for ranch but colonial ok 😂
Theirs a lot of extra steps done in here. Concrete pavers will naturally sink into dirt over time as people walk on them, you don’t really need to dig out a base with gravel and sand and compact it, that’s an absurd amount of work. Make sure you have a clean level surface and just put the pavers down on that. Save yourself a ton of labor, at the end of the day it’s just concrete walkways.
my question is when your side meet the height desired in this case for me 6" and you remove all the dirt ,how do you know if everything that was removed measure 6" all the way around?
I'd hook mother up with another
Poor Christý, I hopé théy didn't Work hér too Hârd
3:10 i thought a bobcat was going to do the digging 🙂
Wearing khakis, jeans, and long sleeve shirts.. working on a patio on a hot day? mmm sure 😂.
lmao they made the obviously pregnant lady shovel dirt and rake sand lmao what the hell
Congratulations. Ms. Lady
What’s the name of the last sand, the one that’s it has to have a bit of water
That was great!!
stone dust holds water. Don't use that anymore.
All these diy are great but the biggest issues is getting rid of the sod you remove
What a great project 👌🏼
Yo! Youtube literally read my imagination exactly what I wanted to do.
6:20 Somebody's parked a little too close to that fire hydrant.
If ya gonna install a patio, save money on labah, get ya pregnant wife to help. Be a man.
Totally surprised that they left out crucial steps. Shame on you “This Old House”. You forgot to run the compactor over the pavers once the dry polymeric sand was applied to remove any air pockets in the joints. And you forgot to remove excess sand and polymeric dust with a leaf blower from the pavers which would create a film after wetting. Also you did not emphasise 2-3 wettings about 10-20 minutes apart depending on weather. And what about no traffic for 12 hours to allow polymeric sand to set up. Nor did you mention polymeric sand takes 39 days to fully cure. Bad bad video!!!
Lmfaoo he made them shovel
Probably best to use Pythagorean theory to check square
Why are they having a pregnant lady do manual labour? This is so bad!
Ooohh oh, forgot to run the compactor on the pavers after sweeping in the sand… thats a no, no.
I'll just pop in side and have a baby,I'll be back soon.
What they got that pregnant lady out there digging for? Anyway should have taken patio all the way to the house and deck.
Lots of missing details here….
Dude you guys are mean letting pregnant women do the work
Don't let the first row of pavers touch the string. It could bump your string out causing a crooked first row.
Pregnant ladies shouldn't dig holes
one step missing .. fabric to block weeds before the layer of gravel …. excellent video ! i may have used a sod cutter to ease the dig in ….
