Growing Broccoli from Seed in Container Gardening Totes & NOW Harvest for Many Months/Years To Cook

My last Broccoli Plants grew for over 4 years producing spears, some in the ground, some in raised bed container garden. We are organic and the birds do their job removing insects, which is a wonderful system we have created here by bring in the birds. Raised Bed Gardening in totes/storage containers saves on Water, Keeps out gophers and roots from trees that take water from our plants. I grow what we like, you grow what you want to eat. Build your garden in your pace, one tote at a time, and it can be incredibly easy, fun and cheap. Be sure to check out thrift stores and bargains, as many times I have gotten these totes for free, $1 because of no lids so keep that eye out for great deals.

This is TULLE that Great Fabric SO CHEAP and last all year outside here, here is an aff. link to check out, many colors, I usually get one of the greens, but any color will work great: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5575376117&toolid=10001&campid=5338267736&customid=&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FTulle-Fabric-Bolt-54-X40yds-Wedding-Bridal-Party-Favor-Decoration-Tutu-Craft%2F381670793265%3Fvar%3D650737116165

  1. There’s nothing like home grown broccoli! Thanks for including Kitty in your videos now and again! I miss having a pet!💕😕

  2. I know you have the birds to eat the cabbage butterfly and worms but do you have any advice on removing the cabbage worms before cooking? I've tried salt water but it didn't work 🙃. And my gosh, thanks for all you do! Your tote gardening saved my garden this year!

  3. I love Kitty! She reminds me of my Yorkie that I lost this past December. She was obsessed with sugar snap peas, lol

  4. That looks good Robbie I haven't grown that since I quit the garden in the ground but will do some in my raised beds or a tote Thanks so much 🦋🦋🦋

  5. Wondering if you will be adding any more layers of wood chips now that the first layers are compressed and breaking down. Last week when you showed the shells in the bed rock, was thinking that I thought the layers of wood chips were deeper like 2 feet deep or more.

  6. Ok, awesome! 👍🏼 Now we've decided we WILL grow that kind of broccoli next year! We had too many types of pests with regular broccoli and cauliflower, so maybe this will be more successful! 🌱🕊️
As always, thank you Robbie! Your videos are very helpful! 🤗💖🌹
