  1. It looks so incredible. I love you videos. I have a questions. This is the first year I planted Panicle hydrangeas in zone 7b. The plants are really healthy, but no buds yet. Is it too soon to expect that? Or I am doing something wrong with my panicle hydrangea?

  3. So thankful for all of the Hydrangea videos! I am considering putting Hydrangeas on the east side of my house, but I want to know all I can before pulling the trigger. I'm leaning toward the Panicle varieties. Hope to figure out if they will work for me in Jacksonville, FL Zone 9. I am thinking perhaps three potted plants in tree form would look nice, since there are no windows on that exterior wall.🌴😎

  4. Hi, Kelly,

Nice video and beautiful flowers. I planted some Annabelle this year in spring. No buds yet. I am in NJ too. How many years should we expect Annabelle to bloom? And any tip for deer problem?

    Thanks.

  5. Kelly! I have a leaftiers… last year I chopped them all down., they all came back but have them again… how do you deal with them and get rid of them? Thanks.

  6. Hi Kelly I have planted my first Limelight hydrangea here in Texas it is now June and we're
up to 100 degrees already…uggh. I water it from the base and it's doing so well! I think the pruning on the Limelight is pretty much the same as the Annabelle is that correct? You can't grow those in TX they said, hold my beer, I said. Beautiful big gorgeous blooms that light up the garden in the day and most spectacularly at night!

  7. I ordered incredible from proven winner but I believe I got Annabelle which I didn't want but don't know how to tell the difference. I have blooms flopping to the ground and they have been in only a year now.

  8. Love your hydrangeas 🥰 I started a Annabelle Hydrangea in a pot this year, in zone 5B when should I plant in the ground? Thank you 😊

  9. I have 2 small hydrangeas, not sure of their variety, they were my moms and have been around for at least 5 years. They’ve just started flowering this year. I’m know nothing about plants, I’m learning from YouTube. The one in the front yard, in a pot, isn’t doing so well. The one in the back yard, also in a pot is doing better. I live in north of Tampa, Florida

  10. Beautiful!! 🥰💐🌼🌿 My Annabelles are coming in so nicely too! Huge soccer size blooms this year since the deer have not found them… Yet! 😄🤞

  11. Thanks for all of your great advice. Is there a way to reduce the size of my Annabelle Hydrangea (or for that matter, mopheads too)? Mine are so overgrown and I guess my space planning was not well thought out. Same problem with spirea…I prune them and they come back twice the size!

  12. I have 8 annabelle hydrangeas that in the past ive been pruning right down to the ground in October (they are 2.5 years old) and this year they grew super tall with huge blooms and small stems so they mostly all broke off and are pretty much flattened right now. Would you prune them just below where they broke off at this point? I want them to have sturdier stems and smaller flowers so next year I’ll prune them in the spring and maybe I’ll add a wire ring around them to keep them from breaking next summer?
