  1. Sorry mate, You lost me immediately.
💤 EDIT THE START OF THE VID. 🥱
60 seconds watching you start the engine 😴

  2. Great job! Subscribed. Gave a big thumb's up! Said it before and I'll say it again!

I often wonder who in the world gives thumb's down. I guess it's just trolls.

My wife tells me when I get annoyed at someone who cuts me off on the highway

or pulls into my parking space at home, or give me a thumb's down, "Don't get upset, just feel sorry for the guy, he's probably in a hurry to get his hemorrhoid prescription filled!" Then I just laugh (most of the time) lol.

Apologies to all who have that condition and don't cut people off on the road.

  3. Great video, Pete. I especially appreciate your comments on what depth to set the blade. Just got a new edger and your tips are invaluable.

  4. Pete, I’ve got to add a second comment. I’m still laughing my a*s off at your comment about digging a hole to China with a stick edger. Best video on the web about how to use a stick edger.

  5. All that hassle getting it started remindsme of when I had a petrol edger. Thank god I've got a battery electric now. Starts first time every time! Better for the planet too.

  6. I like your videos very clean meticulous work. So for an overgrown edge I usually start with the blade edger & then i finish off with the trimmer head to clean up any grass that the blade couldnt cut.

  7. Get a good Stihl weedeater.A little
056 is all that’s needed.Stihl edger blades fit
    the Stihl weedeater.
If you are good, you can make edging simple.
Turn it sideways and some instances upside
down and be done with it.You don’t need any
of this stuff with wheels or anything.
When I buy a few blades,Sharpen all four
sides and go !!! String head off, edger blade
on,washer, nut and done ! I just put the blade
on an extra head and makes swap out
    easier and faster.
Want to tell a greenhorn from the rest ?
    Listen for over-revving needlessly while
the edge work is being done.A lot
of “Pros” can’t guide the edger and work
the throttle to coincide with the edging
being done ! They can’t do two things
    simultaneously !
Not saying this guy does or don’t .

  8. Need to go electric sir….. instant power an my ego last a long time. Your sore arm will thank you

  9. I don’t have a dad and I’ve been watching a lot of your videos to figure things out. Thanks man

  10. Your lawn is georgous and thank you for sharing your experience and advice with us. Much love brother.

  11. Just picked up the same edger. PE-200. Super good condition. Starts first pull!

  12. Y'all can waste all the time you want doing that. I'll be off riding my dirt bike, playing golf, fishing, skiing, whatever.

  13. Just did my yard for the first time along the front sidewalk. My problem is my yard is 2-3 inches above the sidewalk due to my septic system. I’m worried that edging it will expose the roots to heat, and also concerned about erosion onto the sidewalk. Should I continue to edge or let it have a small overlap? The yard originally spilled onto the sidewalk a full foot from erosion and sand off the road from winter

  14. I have to admit I suck at Edging, going to go out today and see if I can apply what you just demonstrated. Your lawn looks awesome!

  15. Edging the lawn gives your entire yard a crisp, manicured appearance. If you leave those little tufts of grass sticking up along your landscape bed or creeping over your pavement it's going to look sloppy

  16. Call me weird. I don’t like an overly manicured lawn, especially edging. I prefer some semblance of Nature. Otherwise, it looks like Disney World.
