I buy sheets of plastic canvas for crafting from walmart with the 1/8" holes for the drain holes. I drill about 5 1.5" holes in the bottom and hot glue squares of the plastic canvas over the holes. You can cut circles but the squares are faster with a straight edge and a utility knife.
