We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, you never know what you’re going to see on the Holmes Hobbies Channel! RC Toys, Electric Bikes, Disc Golf and yes some topics about Growing.. In this video John talks about setting up a garden in his yard for growing food and whatnot. If you’re into growing plants too, John will talk about a few tips and trick he finds works well.

    Thank you for the nice gardening. I Like it. You can use homemade organic fertilizer. Banana peels water, eggshells powder, and sunflower cake. very easy to make. Every month I makeing new organic fertilizer for my pot garden

    Concrete a fence post with a snear to it. Use climbing rope. They'll warn all the other deer for miles. Catch and release. Unless it's hunger games then feast up. Love the grow talk & ideas.

    What I say next, I say this very lightly, pickup a old cub cadet the actual International Harvester Brand. Or a case Ingersoll or bolens garden tractor. I say (lightly) because these little machines become addictive. (Like RCs) Like a small small small farmer and his little tractors 🤣
    Unlike today’s big box store crap though. Built in the 1960s to 1970s early 80s. They will do everything from rototill to plow your driveway 😉

    That might be illegal to snare a deer . I know it is here in Wisconsin. And ill eat vegetables if they're raw. I don't really like em cooked.

    Garden look like its off to a good start!! Holmes I work in the tree industry and you know the only thing missing is good electric trim saws!!! I wish you were in the industry to help develop electric powerful yet lighter saws and advance the industry like you have un the world of rc 'toys'

    How long does it take to kill the weeds under the cardboard? I am thinking of doing this around my flowers and plants in my front yard.

    If you put it in your yard you are putting it in the ocean, regardless of where you live. So please do you remove all the plastic and send it to the landfill. And stop fertilizing your lawn…see video.

    I prefer just to head shot dear or take out its boiler room (❤) the meat is better and tender than meat thats been surging with adrenaline because its been fighting to get out of a trap/snare ,
