The pandemic is a huge factor in metrics. Some of that growth can be attributed to people looking for other things to entertain themselves due to a number of COVID-19 restrictions.

Fascinating chat! And yes it is all indeed overwhelming – I think the only way I could do more than YouTube video content is to build into the YouTube scripts when to do a 'reel' or 'tiktok' version of specific point or step so I don't have to go back and redo it or take the clip from a more normal speed YouTube video 😉

Great discussion – and on the flip side, I have noticed that some youtube creators I used to watch for 15, 25 or 40 minute videos have moved to 1 or 2 hour live streams once a week. I wonder if it's a money maker with all of the Super Chats?
