Wow what a great harvest of yams! I'm so glad y'all have a good harvest. We have had a good harvest this year. Last night it was 28 here, we harvested everything we had left the day before. We're very thankful the lord gave us a good harvest to feed us until next year's harvest. We try to grow enough to last us until the next harvest. I can, freeze, store and dehydrate our foods to last us. I grew up always growing our gardens, raising a lot of different animals for food. We also grew so many flowers to help our gardens. I grow flowers to help polentate our gardens, keep pests away, for home remedies and for our chickens to eat for their health. This freeze is taking its toll on my beautiful flowers.๐ But I harvested a lot of them my plants and herbs for us and to make sure we have everything to make our home remedies. I pray your family will be blessed, stay healthy, warm and the lord will prove everything else! Trust in the lord everything is possible through him as you know.

Here in Sri Lanka we eat boiled sweet potatoes and grated fresh coconut for breakfast . Of course we make a lovely curry to eat with rice.
