  1. Your raised bed looks great. I already planted some of mine but the windstorms been really bad here in north Georgia and has blown off some of the row-covers plastic I’m about giving up on it

  2. Well geez, I'm jealous, we have two feet of snow on the ground and here it will be the first of may at least before we can plant ANYTHING! the ground will be bare in mid March, but the ground won't be warm enough till way later on. Well have fun and good growing, God Bless

  3. your dog made me It will be interesting with the GSM. I am not sure we will be able to predict when to plant. I gave up the fight with Bermuda and Johnson grasses. This week I laid out 300 ft of woven ground cover over a future garden bed. in the fall I will pull it up and layer on compost and shredded leaves and then lay it back down. By spring 2021 I hope to cut holes in it with my little torch and plant my garden. This year I am using large pots and a few raised beds but trees and chickens will be my focus. I got one of my new knees. Expect the other by summer. Then I hope it will be easier.

  4. Glad to see this since I am north of you a little and I was planting peas and onions yesterday. Tomorrow I am doing cabbage, broccoli, and spinach. I am so thankful that garden season is back……I miss it terribly in the winter. Thanks for always sharing – your dog is gorgeous! God Bless ❤️

  5. Oh gosh, Miss Bear must be cursing the chicken wire – lol! Such a great video! We made it to Texas this past June, and the other day, I was wondering when folks start their winter garden in central Texas? I'm guessing about the same time. Thank you for all of the great information. 🙂

  6. Love that you’re posting so much again! We live in flower mound TX and I’m about to completely copy you! 😂 what a happy pupper!

When should I plant these tiny red and white onion bulbs I bought at Lowe’s??

  7. I'm interested in what zone you're in. I'm in 7b here next to the Red River in Texas. Any recommendations on keeping Bermuda grass from coming back under raised bed.

  8. Great video, down here in Florida we only had to worry about a few nights of cold. Looking forward to your updates !

  9. I've got the same problem with my chickens and Shepard wanting to dig where I dig. Trying to get a fence up this weekend and then have lots going in the ground. I wondered it you were going to let your plants come up through the chicken wire or will you take it off once the plants come up?

  10. I'm near Dallas and only do raised beds…Lowes would have $10 off $50 coupons I'd wait for and buy lumber. Also, I heard someone in OK mention they tape a cotton ball to their microphone on the cell phone to block the wind noise…might try that since it's awfully windy here…or people use a "dead cat" on their nice cameras. 🙂 <3

  11. Checkout the Ruth Stout method! Hay and mulch combats drought and weeds and feeds the soil. I just found a
    Out about her.

  12. You shared some great tips here.❤️ I usually plant some veg in pots on the deck. Last year I had a great harvest. Hoping to grow again this yeas. Thanks for sharing. Love the puppy. A new friend. Lets connect.

  13. Thank you for your time and content. I am 30 years old and really enjoyed this video.. I am going to check now but did you happen to say what state or region you live in? I ask cause my family lives in Minnesota and have a foot of snow on average tell march or April sometimes but I myself live in washington and aside from the rain daily we have had nice weather. So i just like to compare areas and such. . Edited haha Texes very pretty. Super pretty and beautiful I cant wait to watch more videos

  14. Oh wow! Planting in January! With the freeze that we get in February is it really ok for the carrots to go through that?
