Hi Everyone! I’m a city girl from The Bronx, New York now residing in Atlanta, Georgia! I’ve always wanted to start a little garden but never had the space to do it. Last year I tried my hand at planting a few seeds just as an experiment and what do you know I had a full-blown garden in a matter of months. I hope to be able to share my garden experiences, tips, and techniques with you here on my channel. I mostly do container gardening but I’m sure I will be branching out to other ways as I learn. Girl I got the rake, spade and hoe thing. Soil as filler below the "good soil" and pots galore. Just bought some more last pots night. Bought the parsley, thyme, peppermint butterfly flowers and some other flowers they have. The herbs aren't really producing, but the flowers are coming up fine.
They had some macrame holders that I plan to use for my watermelons since I didn't want them on the ground growing and slugs getting to them. Bought some clay pots to do the olli thing where you submerge the clay pots in soil and fill with water to slowly keep soil moist throughout the week (Gotta plug up the hole so the water doesn't run thru) and then cover them so water doesn't evaporate out the top. I heard it's good for tomatoes, in particular, since they're picky about watering.
Bought from Lowe's some other pest reducing flowers like alyssum, nasturtium, chrysanthemum, catnip, rosemary, 2 types of zinnias, and a few other seeds i swore I needed lol
I got one of them soaker hose too
I got them clips too lol probably bought too many packs
I thought about the plant bracket to put into my wood fence, but I wasn't sure that I would have used for them… I got some s hooks for the fence with the idea I would hang some hanging baskets from them (from dollar tree) but still I'm waiting for my plants to grow to a point I can know what's going on what and how to use these bits and why etc…
I didn't get any of the ornamental stuff tho. My focus is literally on the plants 😀
I need to get some of those watering sticks tho. I only have 1 from last year
The sow easy, I got echinacea and the catnip too… None of my echinacea had come up and it's been enough time for it to come up

great haul – you picked up some very nice finds. i need to shop at your stores.
i still have stuff from last year, but hit up dollar-25 tree for the white labels and walmart for some garden soil (after the sales passed).
once my garden starts filling in, i may go back to dollar-25 tree for some decorations. i would get them now, but i need to wait and see how the garden fills out.
im on my way to home depot right now to pick up part of a ship-to-store order.
home depot got most of my paycheck (during their sale)…and still scraping the change from my purse 🤣🤣😂😂 tfs
