How to build a natural Stack Stone Retaining Wall 🏗 Amazing Backyard Landscaping Ideas!

➡️ Phil Sarros talks about how to build a natural stack stone retaining wall that is built on poured concrete foundation.

Phil is using Tennessee medium stacked stone set on a cinder block foundation. The stone is veneered to the block wall by a qualified Atlanta stone mason.
➡️ Brick ties are set into the wall to offer greater strength and stability between the natural stacked stones. This is a dry stack application, meaning that the mortar will not show through.
The cap is a 2 inch Tennessee crab orchard flagstone. The hollow cores in the cinder block are filled with concrete and rebar reinforcement. The entire wall is sitting on a poured concrete foundation.

He talks about each step that you need in order to build one, including the kind of stones he’s using to create this wall.
➡️ He also mentions the usage of brick ties, so that it can hold the entire wall together and strengthen it.
