Spectacular Garden Tour |Transitioning From Summer to Fall|

Hi!
My name is Justin and I have my managed my family’s business (S&K Greenhouse) for the last 10 years! It is a local garden center in Shelby, NC that my family started around 25 years ago.

We have a strong desire to discuss and teach gardening to the online community and welcome anyone who wants to learn. Though we have been involved in the plant world for decades we have found that there is always something to learn when it comes to gardening.

Whether you are a master gardener or just starting out this channel is for you. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our videos!

  3. What a garden,,, Bruce must be busy 7 days a week,,, Thanks for sharing and can’t wait to see his end of Fall tour!!!

  4. I love seeing Bruce's beautiful garden! Would he be willing to let you film him cooking up his famous collard greens? 😁

  5. Justin. Thanks for showing this garden. I appreciate that it is organized, neat and visually appealing. I always enjoy your content. You are so respectful and restrained in this video but I can still see that energy that gives your channel so much appeal. Great Job my Friend. Cheers!

  6. I loved this video so much; I watched it twice! Bruce, your garden is absolutely gorgeous, thank you for allowing Justin and Alex to make another videotape of it, and for letting us tag along. I have planted flowers and vegetables together for as long as I can remember because that's how my parents and grandparents gardened. I also don't like using pesticides in my garden, so I either hand-pick the chewing bugs, or (recently) I've put agricultural insect fabric over the brassicas. I follow a YT channel called, 'Susan's In The Garden', and I got the idea from her last year. That fabric even keeps the aphids and white flies out. I'm looking forward to watching your next garden tour! Have a great week! ~Margie🤗💐🐝🦋

  7. Love Bruce's garden, it's just beautiful!! I like his food scaping idea. I've never thought about doing that, but I will certainly start it.

  8. Justin brought Bruce back! I can't get enough of Bruce and his garden!I've been dreaming about his conifers. Thank you both❤

  9. Does he use plant starts and if so does he grow his own? If so I bet he has lots of tips about that. Either way they and his gardens are gorgeous.

  10. I love Bruce's gardens! And I love the idea of showing how one garden is maintained throughout the transitioning seasons. Beautiful work!

  11. Bruce's vegetable garden "room" is the stuff of dreams! Please please talk him into a video explaining how he built it – This is something I would love in my SC lowcountry garden. 🙂

  12. Another great video. I too have been "foodscaping" for several years. I prefer to call it edibles in the landscape. With a small yard like mine it is a necessity.

  13. In love with…everything about this video…another great job and lovely lovely grounds…I especially loved the garden structure with all the raised garden beds. Watching you guys makes me miss when I lived in NC – love that southern charm and hospitality. Thanks Bruce for inviting us to look through the window of your landscape…Can't forget to give a huge shoutout to Alex! Hey Alex! Nicely done! ☺🌺🍁

  14. I'm new to gardening in NC and to fall gardening. Just this week, all my broccoli and brussel sprout seedlings had their stems severed about 1" above ground and the tops just left laying next to the stem stubs. I've been told the culprit is probably squirrels. Does the fencing around this garden help keep squirrels out or will they just climb up and over? Any suggestions for squirrel control?
