Gardener's Vlog – October Updates, Winter Plans, and Garlic

Big decisions had to be made so the October update is a bit late.

Soil, summer, heat, drought, frost, garlic, and Bo; it’s all here.

Grab some garlic and join me for my October permaculture garden and life updates.

Btw, I signed up on Buy Me a Coffee. Any help is greatly appreciated and helps me build a future. PLEASE mention the Secret Project if that’s where you’d like your donation to go.

  1. What on earth. Customers are doing their own testing to give concrete data to the soil company and how their product is problematic and they're just like "nah we're not going to change anything" 🤬🤬🤬

  2. To share a funny Canadia win, I have proof my fabric pot garden is helping my local wildlife! There was a half eaten mini tomato on my door step 🤣

  3. I had a trying summer due to having 2 cancer surgeries, so all I did was throw tomatoes in the ground and plant some green beans and cucumbers. Nothing got watered, so I was happy to get anything. I did get tomatoes and beans and a few stunted cucumbers. I had also planted some walking onions in a tote. I thought they had died, but since our weather had cooled down, they’re coming back. I wish I had done more, but some years are just hard sometimes. Don’t feel bad about your garden. You’ve overcome problems and made us aware of the possible problems with buying soil, so you’ve helped all of us. Things will get better. ❤️
