  9. This was a great tutorial. Showing how to make the jig was spot on. My husband made raised bed containers that flank east/west our inground garden. We salvaged used cattle panels for pennies and made arches much like yours. At first I wanted them to look perfect and my husband came close with the first arch. After planting together cucumbers and various climbing flowers I realized the foliage hid any imperfections! Now 2 more trellis arches down we have a visually pleasing garden with so much diversity. We've planted cukes, spaghetti squash, delicatas squash, green beans, Chinese red noodle beans and various bee loving flowers. This fall we are covering one of the trellis with greenhouse film. I am planting the containers with purple sprouting broccoli, beets, lettuce, and carrots to see how far we can extend our Boise 7a zone. We will have a cattle panel greenhouse around 3.5 ft x 14 ft raised containers. Thank you for showing viewers how to go vertical. PS- Robie all our soil is made from our horse manure, leaves, sticks, wood chips…you know the drill!

  10. This tutorial is very good … very detailed and useful for all of us home gardeners. The only thing I cant do is bring the rebar home from the garden store bc I have a small car 🙂 Good exercise too and fortunately you only need to do this once for your garden …. weeesh probably easier to set up in Autumn rather than summer.

  11. Beyond G E N I U S 👏👏 Loved it soo much, shared it to myself to put to use for upcoming spring. Big PS Thank You for sharing and saving us time, effort and over thinking ❣️

  12. Thank you Gary! I want these tunnels in several places. Great instructions. Just need to get Jerry over to Lowes with our truck and get some materials. Shaded tunnels make so much sense in my desert gardens. Once anchored, these will hold up with the wind gusts.
