Adventure with me on a solo camping trip into the backcountry of northern Maine, traveling between the many hiking and camp spots surrounding the infamous Mt. Katahdin. We will go spelunking in ice caves, hike into Baxter State Park for free and travel into the National Woods and Waters Reserve to explore the many trails and swimming holes that this wild and beautiful area has to offer. I’ll be sharing nature education by sharing the native mushrooms and foraging the last of summer’s local blueberries during the slow transition into autumn. Whether hitting the trail, cooking up healthy + affordable meals, or learning about both ourselves and nature, it’ll be an unforgettable road trip into the most quiet and remote pieces of nature you can access via forest road.
