  1. Great video!!! I would like to add a couple of tips for cooling off which will seem crazy but tried and true!! If it’s super hot, drink hot beverages. As soon as you swallow them and breathe, you will actually breathe in cold air which cools you off instantly and also try to take a hot shower or hot at the end because as soon as you get out of the stall, you will be greeted by really cold air and that is the best feeling in the world. Cool showers make you sweat more and within minutes of getting out. Thank you for the wonderful tips and you’ll have to tell me if hot tea or coffee work for you…… it is the best feeling ever!! Even after weeding! 😂

  2. I actually wear a huge floppy hat when I'm watering. It does cause my head to sweat more but the benefits of saving my face and eyes is worth it. I honestly need to follow a lot of these rules but don't. Great vid, Laura.

  3. I don’t know about humid environments, but in drier heat gardening in wet clothing or with wet hair keeps me cooler. I wear hiking shirts, pants and a hat which are made out of synthetic fabrics that breathe. It’s been over 90F all week.

  4. Great video!! Thank you for the reminders and it's okay if are gardens don't looks so great during these heat waves 🌊🌻🌄💦
