Here is a time lapse of an artificial turf job we just did. This job required us to remove the existing grass, treat the ground to prevent the grass from coming back, capping off the water, laying down a new base, compacting it and installing the new turf with the infill.

Great looking, good for small area. People spend $200~$400 for lawn care. Just wondering how much did this cost altogether
If you want low maintenance go rent an apartment. Artificial turf is a fad like waterbeds of the 80s. It shall pass. Cant wait.

Our top layer just under the artificial grass is not compact at all. It's leaking out around decorative rock where the artificial grass was shaped. Also at the sides and bottom of the driveway. It's like the texture of course sand. This installation is brand new by a landscape company, not a DIY. Can this leaking sand lead to problems? Any advice will be helpful. Thank you.
Can u tell me what the cost was to do this job. I'm very interested in doing my yard.
