  1. Thanks Clambarn! My son found a hole in our yard today from where an old swimming pool was at. The hole appeared where a low spot was at, and I'm thinking it happened due to rain settling. I'll fill it with pea gravel.

  2. hello. i have a question.
im putting artificial turf in my back yard. it is a dirt yard very uneven. and has holes that are up to 4-5 inches deep. do you know what i can put in the holes to make the whole yard level.
i know it sounds like i need a professional to do the job. but im a DIY kinda guy.
    any feedback is much appreciated

  3. I like to make a thin mud and pour that into the hole. It fills all the nooks and crannies. Takes a few days to firm up and a little more dry soil afterwards, but I feel this method is superior to dry filling and packing the hole.

  4. I want to repair the water that always remain in the yard close to foundation and I hire a guy who said he can fix it and he brought the to cover that area but that dirt kill my grass and he used the dirt that use to fix the hole. How can I fix the yard to have s grass grow???

  5. I want to buy a small house, perfect for myself but, I walked in the back yard and the ground was very soft….what would cause this ,what concerns should I have?I truly need answers before I sighn the dotted line..

  6. What’s a good soil to use? Most of the stuff labeled top soil at Lowe’s or Home Depot is crap. Looks like shredded bark as opposed to soil

  7. Ya wanna talk sinkholes? I'll tell you about sinkholes. Two. Large. Sinkholes. First time: Storm water got underground, ran out to a creek behind the house and took soil with it. Took 60 tons of fill. Then 12 tons of top soil, then it was sodded. Second time: Hurricane Florence came within two weeks of sod being laid. Again, water under ground – big time. This time, I stopped counting after 80 tons of fill. Running to Lowes for some bags of top soil was not in the cards.

  8. Opened this video because I just found one in my front yard. Although… mine is like the size of a car.
