Welcome to another episode of The Tim Ferriss Show, where it is usually my job to sit down with world-class performers of all different types to tease out the habits, routines, favorite books, and so on that you can apply and test in your own life. This time, we have a slightly different format, and I’m the guest.
As some of you know, I tested a “fan-supported model” in 2019, but I ended up returning to ads by request. That’s a long story, and you can read more about it at tim.blog/podcastexperiment. I recently sat down with the original supporter group for a fun and live Q&A on YouTube.
In this episode, I answer questions on marketing and product launches, premium pricing, user feedback, fasting routines, podcast advertising, my recent gardening adventures, tools for releasing tension in the iliacus and psoas muscles, my current coffee and alcohol rules, advice for artisans, animal communication, tools for adverse life moments, and more.
Please enjoy!

Can't wait to see Tim's purported shark jump with project 555…
nice bruh
legalize all drugs, plants should not be a crime, don't punish humans for wanting to express their god giving right to ingest fungus
thnx
Tim's gonna rob a house after this….
29:31 – that podcast with BJ Miller has been instrumental to the way I try to live. I always go back and listen to it every now and then. 💜
Thank you for this! A fantastic listen 🙂
love this episode
Why do you say 'net net' rather than just 'net'? What's the difference?
Project 555
Sounds like a fictional comedy
and in fact… "555" is the way Thai people say "HAHAHA" in chat (5 = Haa)
Decaf coffee is great in the evening.
Tim's content and interviews are something that everyone can benefit from. It amazes me and is frankly quite concerning that Tim's channel only has 1 million subscribers while other channels that promote ridiculous and brainless content have 10 times the number of subscribers.
Enjoying the rethink, the podcast content and the new projects are interesting as experience based and incorporating some things said a while ago now being rolled out like 555 or who is going to create the 3 HR series…
Amazing episode, so much value.
I like the fasting technique
As a seventy year old Canadian, Tim’s conversations have accompanied me on long walks for years. Non-sequitur admitted, I’ve never pictured him sitting down, facing me . . .
Tim, I feel on a similar wavelength to you… particularly where I was like 5-6 years ago when I wrote Slipstream Time Hacking about experiential time dilation (i.e., meaning expansion) and Willpower Doesn't Work, which fits with your thinking on information/decision diet.
Love the podcast and these Q&A's are absolutely amazing. Hope Tim does even more of these. Super impressive the tangible advice this guy is able to give out for such a wide scope of topics.
