  1. we'll documented video I to have an allotment and there is always plenty to do look forward to the next video

  2. Hi Tony, always love your videos and look forward to viewing them 😊. Just a couple of questions…on your fruit plot do you net the fruit? Also when you talk about your plot you always say “we”, do you have help with the plot?
I started with just a 1/4 size plot but this year I have taken on another 1/4 size that was next door. Can already see I need another 1/4 as well lol

  3. I am going to grow some linen flax on a piece of my allotment and then process it all the way to linen. I thought about recording the whole thing and putting up some little videos of the experiment, but with my cheap peasant camera and chavy voice I would probably be mocked off you tube for all time ^^

  4. Yes, I do wish your neighbour well I know what it feels like to be in decline. I expect he has had many years of enjoying his allotment efforts, I know I have had a lot of fun and challenges rearing sheep and a few suckler cows + veg growing and keeping poultry, I can still turn a chicken over and grow a limited amount of veg. Wish him well from me please.

  5. I enjoyed that episode! I need to get back to watching your channel more in 2019! You really are working a nice chunk of land. I love what you said about feeding the soil!

    Klaus

  6. I remember reading somewhere that the chance of getting a high quality new apple tree from planting a seed is something like one in fourty four thousand, just sayin😇.

  7. Is this a public garden that you run? Seems like a lot of land but I see house roofs all around?

  8. I was lucky this year – and managed to dig over the main bulk of my plot before the rains/cold came, unlike the previous year – so now i only need to prune my gooseberry bushes and weed the raspberries/strawberries/round the compost and weed bins and i am ready to roll with the new season.

  9. Great video Tonys.
Do you have a video on Brussels sprouts, ?
I am a new subscriber and loving it.
Keep the work, i will be looking for all your new videos.
    All the best Ralph Costello.

  10. great plans! I ate through an entire bag of apple to find not one seed! Got another bag to try again so I can get some in the fridge!

  11. Time seems to go faster the older we get! Hard to believe we're into a new growing year – it's too exciting. I can't wait to see how the year unfolds for you. it's such a great plot that you have made……I'm jealous of your space! Have a fabulous year. 🙂

  12. Lovely to see the whole growing spaces, and all so organised. I'd love further space though that will have to wait until our move to Wales as we are not allowed more than one full plot per household 😥 Love Wurzel… 😀 What temperature does the leaf mould get too? I know when we have woodchip at our Community Gardens it heats well as well, though have often wondered the temperature. And our have an Original Wormery. Have you a video on that as just wanting to move the Cedrics and Cedricitas from their temporary home to this new one. Richard has just pointed out my plots aren't as neat as yours.. I think he was hinting… 😀 Looking forward to your 2019 growing and projects. 😀

  13. Looks great. I garden on my own property, but you have more space than I do. Can’t wait to see how much food comes off of there this year…

  14. Hi Tony,Happy New Year. What are your thoughts on using the ash from a Dual fuel fire, mainly burning coal for conditioning the soil?? Oh and by the way the Solar panels are working great even in winter in the North of Scotland.

  15. Good grief Tony I've been watching your videos all this time and had no idea the plots were that big! Great idea to use part of the shed as a recording studio – weren't you looking at trying to get some wifi up there? It's sad when plot holders move on because of ill health – it's clear Keith put a lot of time and effort into those buildings – please send him my best regards. And speaking of which couldn't you get help from the council to take them down – it's gonna be a biiiiiiig job! Great start to the new year – here's to 2019!

  16. Everything’s coming on great tony busy as always those grapes look awesome 👏 I’m well jealous of how much space your accumulating, good for you maybe I’ll get some one day 😁🤞looking forward to the new videos all the best ❤️

  18. Good grief Tony!! When do you find time to go to work?! 😂. What a great tour of your enormous plot. Absolutely fantastic. I’m late catching up with this, but I’m binge watching everyone’s videos that I’ve missed. Hope you’re well. K 🙂

  19. I have a question..how does one tell the difference in what carrot varieties are good for forcing, which are best for winter carrots, etc? In the states Ive noticed out seed packets do not tend to differentiate and give the same instructions for all. Is it the same with seed packets in the UK?

  20. Love your vids. At my age the hearing aint to good, you mentioned something about feed ya soil with a little diagram. Where can I find this diagram and what do you feed the soil with please? — Thanks

  21. New subscriber 😊 wow that's an amazing allotment. I'm helping a friend who has a strange shaped piece of ground. It's not been turned over and is full of weeds, marsh grass and rubble from brick to slate, stones and paving slab cut offs. There is a good 45 – 60 cm drop off from the main patio. My question is do we dig out weeds try and get as much rubble out as possible then soil it. Or can we mud up to 30cm and 30 cm topsoil. In a real quandary about this as it's a huge area 213ft arch. It is a heavy clay soil as well. Thank you for reading this.

  22. hello tony,
i am going to grow some potatoes in the oakland containers, could you recommend some good compost and also can you grow carrots in the 30 litre containers like you do with the potatoes?
    🙂

  23. Great to have found you here by chance Antonio . Enjoyed the videos I have seen so far . You are a natural presenter with a sexy Welsh accent . What a momentous task you have ahead of you ! Good luck . I shall be following your progress with great anticipation and interest . 👍
