  1. Great video Jim, I'm really excited about the Hardy Begonia Sterling moon, , I hope i can get my hands on this one !

  2. Greatly appreciate your insight. I have so many things on my landscaping wishlist, but a retaining wall must come first.

  3. Love all those plants 🪴. Thank you, Jim Putnam and Stephany. For traveling to bring those beautiful plants 🪴 in our home so we could see , so many beautiful plants, woo!!

  4. Is the southern living collection a big nursery for the south ? We have a lot of proven winners which is based in Michigan but I don’t see any of your SLC brand in zone 5b Cleveland Ohio. Are the plants based on more warmer climate type environments or higher zones ?

  5. These nursery videos really get me salivating for new plants to add to my garden. Thanks for zooming in on the plant tags; I take screen shots so I don’t have to add info to each one before adding the photo to my Wish List album. 💚

  6. I own quite a few of these plants here in zone 7 and just want to say that no plant has brought me more joy for less fuss than that ‘Golden Oakland’ Holly.

  7. I think because you live in town it’s naturally warmer than people living in the same zone but out in the open. The winter sun heats up buildings and pavement and those things radiate the warmth the sun in winter brings. I could be very wrong, but it seems whenever I go into town it’s always warmer there. And I think that’s why you are able to get away with planting something thats only hardy to a zone 8, plus the protection from the winter winds. Just my opinion.🍁🍂🍁💚🙃

  8. Thank you Jim, I really, really wish I could grow some of those shrubs and plants😢 🍁🍂🍁💚🙃

  9. I have purchased and overwintered that purple plectranthus, but I really only get foliage in zone 6. Do you think maybe the intense heat of warmer zones prompts the flowering? They are always in flower at the box stores but it didn’t really flower much for me in the second year. Should I fertilize it more?

  10. Beautiful plants, what a nice tour. I’m in love and super excited with everything I’m learning in your channel. Thank you for the valuable content!

  11. FINALLY!! Plants for zone 10! I'm so excited for that pink plectranthus. Great video. Can't wait for part 2.

  12. Please let me know the spelling of the 'techemaria' you featured. I seem to be spelling it wrong & as a result can't look it up online. Thanks!

  13. Jim & Steph, so glad to see this video! We just moved to Foley, AL from Terrytown, LA. I just mentioned to a friend that I wanted to see what was blooming or fall/winter foliage color. Perfect video to satisfy my curiosity. Can’t wait for number 2.

  14. Great shrub coverage. Just in time for finishing my new garden bed. Wish I could be shopping there but I'm in the Pacific Northwest coast of Washington zone 9A.

  15. Very helpful videos Jim. I think that Purple Pixie will be coming home so live with me soon. How tempting was it for you to fix the tag placement🤣

  16. Jim I would love to see a video on pruning conifers. It scares me. I have two cryptomerias that need a haircut desperately but I'm afraid I'll screw it up. Cheers from Charlotte

  17. PLEASE consider posting videos of newer cultivars in a separate video as a “future trends” in landscape and horticulture! I would love to hear someone talk about plants the same way interior designers talk about their opinions on trends. It would be a fun hunt and great getting a head start on plants that could be popular in the future. You have a lot of experience and I trust your foresight and knowledge 👍🏽 there aren’t any videos like that right now and you have the connections and are a wonderful creator

  18. Value all your nursery tours. Door dash has grabbed your jingle so very confusing on u tube now…..

  19. It was wonderful to see all the blooming plants we here in zone 6b just had a killing freeze ( super early ) so all the flowers are gone for the season

  20. Thanks Jim for the comprehensive review. It is so appreciated to be able to view so many plants that can survive in zone 9b.
