  6. What an excellent show. As a lady in her 60's, I am into health and fitness too and my preps are not what most preppers are purchasing and storing. I would not last long on GMO carbs, PUFAS, etc. Health is everything and especially in a SHTF situation. Thank you for having Patrick on and helping others.

  7. I keep my nuts in the freezer. They don’t spoil fast enough before used. I have some two years old, they are just fine.

  8. I put my oils in the fridge, olive and avocado and coconut. I have a small basement fridge with my oils in it. If I need it for like a party then I move the oils out temporarily. Also coconut oil has a long shelf life. Also rancid oil can be used as fuel for a candle right?

  10. This would be a better question for Dr Eric Berg. If I were you Id eat avocadoes, fatty meat, cheese, eggs (up to five a day if you don’t need to lose weight)nuts, fresh vegetables (7 to 9 cups of salad and above ground veggies, and berries for fruit. Many fruits are too much sugar. Dr Ken Berry is more carnivore, but I think vegetables are important. Dr Eric Berg says meat can spike insulin. Don’t be afraid of fats like olive oil, coconut oil, bacon, olives, avocados. I think fasting is the best thing for your health. You both know more than this “certified trainer”. Ditch the high carbs like, rice, bread, pasta etc. I am storing rice and wheat berries. I’ll want limes too. Can you grind stevia from leaves from a sweetener? Ive had the best resultvfrom eat😅ng “healthy keto” and fasting. Don’t do soy or protein powders. No need for “cheat” day. Lilly’s chocolate ok if uou can do stevia – you can make your own too. Best diet for MS and menopause too.

  11. In exercising, strength training (one day upper body and one day of lower) and walking and gardening, you don’t want to stress out your adrenals. Again, check out Dr Eric Berg, I also see a naturopath – my hubby and I are your guys’ age! Again, don’t do protein powder or soy, may want to balance your hormones, I did! Im feeling sooo much better!!!

  12. Dr Eric Berg helps vegetarians, your son needs his B12 too – vitamins are so helpful! Lots of protein in vegetables, sprouts are terrific for him, eggs, fish, nuts, mushrooms, beans/lentils and rice (for him for a complete protein), soy isn’t good for your son either.

  14. Wow! Nut trees! You lucky guys. I hope it's not black walnut though,because they can be a nightmare to other plants around it. But black walnut is my favorite ice cream…yummy

  15. He suggests protein powders, but one thing he doesn't cover is that most protein powders are either soy or milk based. Check the ingredients if you need to avoid either of those in your diet. As for the best way to store the foods I need for my diet, you stated what has basically become my food storage mantra: store what you eat and eat what you store. That way the body doesn't have to get used to new foods in an emergency situation, and you always keep your food storage rotated. I plan my menus around what I have stored in my pantry and plan my grocery lists around restocking (or building up) my food storage. That plan works no matter what our individual dietary needs are.

  17. I don't like my vegetables Frozen or cooked green beans are okay being cooked but everything else if I'm going to eat has to be completely raw freshly picked out of the garden

  18. I am soooo glad you shared that you have MS. I do as well and had no idea that you did. I have also never been told to not eat those foods you'd mentioned. I'd love to hear more.
