  1. This is gorgeous! Your home could be in Better Homes and Gardens. I don’t think there is any thing wrong with your hydrangea tree. I think it’s those big ole gorgeous flowers weighing them down. You guys really did a fantastic job. But if you do another when it’s all finished, please pan out a little with the camera so we can see what it looks like with the house.

  2. What a dream home and backyard 😊 Everything is so beautiful…love it ❤️. I've been waiting for this video. I can watch this video over and over. Thank you for sharing Kathleen. God bless 🙏

  3. I'm in love! I need to jot down some of these that you used because we need something in the back. Without a fence I feel naked on the corner so I would love some privacy plants

  4. The hydrangeas droop when they get a lot of sun. By the evening check to see if it perks back up. If not it could be needing more water.

  5. The hydrangeas close to the steps, it depends on the type of hydrangea. Some hydrangeas can withstand full sun where as some cannot. I have hydrangea that do not prefer full sun in a full sun location but I water it more during the very hot season to help prevent the burn. Also any plant that is planted within the first year doesn’t look as good because their roots are establishing. Next year you should see a better performance.

  6. Hi! I have a hydrangea tree and when I first planted it, it did droop the first couple years. The branches just need to get stronger. Trim weak branches and crossover branches in late winter.

  7. Beautiful and dreamy landscape! I would agree to plant a complete row of incrediball in the front yard — it would be a gorgeous show stopper. Ideas for shaded plants that I love would be astilbes and hostas – particularly the fire and ice hostas are very modern looking to me. I believe the hydrangeas are scorching because they are so young and I think next year will do better however, you could even place an umbrella temporarily over them to help them out. I am a fairly new gardener as well and have very similar taste. I really enjoyed this video. 🇨🇦
