Repurposing plastic produce containers into mini greenhouses for winter gardening. I am on a journey to minimal living and reducing my waste. One way I repurpose plastic containers is to turn them into mini greenhouses during the winter months. This method is great for for delicate greens like spinach and lettuce. I keep the mini greenhouses in my sun room during winter and will move them to the garden early spring.
Steps:
1 clean container
2 line container with paper towel
3 fill with coco coir
4 sow seeds or transplant seedlings
5 water
6 close the lid and store in a sunny spot
♻️How do you reuse your containers?
