Winging It Week 42 | Seeds | Make an Autumn Wreath With Woven Stitches

It’s Winging It Week 42 and this time, our prompt is Seeds. In this video, we are going to make an autumn wreath with woven stitches.

Taking inspiration from the changing season, we are going to use our October stitches to imagine seeds in stitch. Conkers, acorns, catkins and pine cones all appear, plus, we will be creating some super cute honesty pennies.

  1. So amazing!! Your work is exquisite!! I just love watching you stitch!! Stay safe.

  2. You are so inspiring! I remember the honesty pennies(we called it a money flower) in my mom’s garden. They’re perfect. I like every seed on your wreath! Thank you!!!

  3. Before you start any embroidery you should have some type of pattern on your fabric is that right I'm new. I'm just starting out and you are a big help

  4. This was awesome. The pine cone looks especially amazing. And I would never have thought of doing a spider stitch with only 3 spokes. I can't wait to find a second to leave my crocheting behind and get back to slowstitching!! I will definitely try these two techniques in my next piece. This has inspired me.
