    I have a good tip for you on the blue hydrangea. In several videos I heard you mention you wanted it to be as blue as possible. I recently purchased a blue hydrangea from Home Depot and it was a pretty color blue. But the moment I gave it some of the Acidic Miracle Gro water soluble for β€œAcid loving plants”, it turned the deepest blue only 2 days after giving it the Miracle Grow! I couldn’t believe it! I would definitely give that a try

    Mines aren't doing that great asking for advice purposes. Yours are beautiful.

    I'm in southern california, zone 10. My Cafe au Lait dahlias are also behind my other dahlias. I think, because it's been cooler than normal, they're struggling to get going. While my other varieties are already a foot tall.

    Could you possibly train your plumbago up your fence? I have one plumbago that gets out of hand, but flowers on and off all year so I don’t cut it back very often. I love the beautiful blue flowers that look like mini hydrangea blooms. Training it is the answer. πŸ˜€

    Maybe camillas under oak they do not like wet feet… I have a old 100year old live oak here in gulf coast pensacola fl and old Camilla trees under it they are so easy !!! Beautiful beautiful garden tour !!!πŸ‘πŸ

    Do you do anything to your supertunia Bubblegum petunias? Any dead heading or feeding? How often? I'm just beginning to use them but care for them is a mystery. I don't want my investment to die on me!! Thanks and your gardens look fabulous!

    Janey, please think twice about removing the Pennisetum "vertigo" as it is so beautiful and brings wonderful structure and movement to that area.

    I love that you have been able to get your Veronica to look so well. I'm in zone 8a in north Texas and really want to get some next year. We just moved into a new build so we have a pretty blank slate to work with. I worked on our front garden this spring but only a little because it was more of an experiment at learning the lighting conditions & soil (which I seriously need to amend big time because it is nothing but hard, thick clay). I'm pregnant (at 42) & have a 2 yo little boy so I'm not doing much the rest of the summer but hopefully will be able to plant some mums this fall. Since I have to have a c-section, I won't be able to do much in the fall but my hubby will dig a couple of holes for me. πŸ™‚

    Glad to find this channel! I live here in the valley (zone 7b). I have been following some other YouTube gardeners, but they are from the south east. It’s nice to find a local. I would love it if you would do some foundation plants, evergreen, shade tolerant, and full sun plant videos from a nursery. I’m subscribing and looking forward to your videos!
