  1. I lost my pepper plant. Had it in the sun all day. I moved it but dont know if it will come back

  2. Have my squash and cucumbers in the shade in the afternoon. Only get early morning sun up to 11:00 their doing fine. Planted in mulch

  3. This is fantastic news, Danny & Wanda! Now, I need to know the name of the liquid nitrogen & calcium nitrate you used on your peppers. I am having the same issue in my pots of peppers so need to do the same thing. I have never used liquid nitrogen & calcium nitrate so where do you get & the name. Maybe I can save my peppers and get enough to put back. Hope you all are getting some beneficial rain from this storm. We have been getting good slow rain so maybe our drought situation will get better now. Blessings to you & Wanda and PRAISE GOD you got your pepper problem solved.

  4. Praying the upcoming hurricane doesn't wreck your gardens. I read it may be bringing 24 inches of rain. Praying you don't flood! God bless you both!

  5. Hey Mr. Danny, that grasshopper must have been high on that nitrogen spray, made him feel he was a T-Rex, lol !

  6. Why are you growing them in pots? I am not terribly far from you guys and I tried growing them in the ground last year and they all got bacterial spot and died pretty early on. Do you guys have trouble growing them in the ground too or do you think that is likely an isolated experience. Potting so many is quite a chore. I was going to try putting them in the ground again. I was curious if you guys had some knowledge specifically on pots vs garden bed in zone 8b. I live in Abita Springs, Louisiana. Thanks so much!

  7. Now now Danny tell the truth. It was Wanda who bit you wasn't it?! Well we all knew she was a firecracker when you married her so…😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  8. Amish and Matt's Wild Cherry tomatoes making. I got a ton of volunteer tomatoes this year, sheesh. Squash has flowers, Cherokee Tan HUGE leaves and going nuts, no flowers yet, corn is tasseling. So far, thank God, so good. We had a weird year for grasshoppers two years ago, due to something planted in the farmer's field behind me. My dog eats them, isn't that crazy?!

  9. Will you be hit with the hurricane and all the rain with it. I hope everything will be ok. God Bless.

  10. yes! banish that grasshopper to the chickens…. off with his head… peppers look good… we are thinking of peppers in pots next year… the older we get…well, you understand… Hugs Lea

  11. Those peppers look amazing! So much happier than they were before the mulch and food. I agree, that hopper should be chicken feed 😂!

  12. My rain barrel is empty. Hoping for some rain tonight or tomorrow. Your peppers look great. Thanks for showing us. I'll be working on mine soon.

  13. He bit me ……and he was such a nice little feller [sorry, couldn't resist] Glad you guys are getting some needed rain …. such a blessing!

  14. So, was that grasshoppers name Charlie? Did Charlie Bite you HEE HEE. Seriously, I jumped when you yelped.  Glad your plants are doing so well.

  15. I must have missed where you got your liquid nitrogen. You sprayed. And whatever else you mixed with it. Could you share that with me 🙂

  16. Collected grasshoppers in a jar when I was 9 and 10 years
old. Then, stood in an ant hill. Mom was petrified when I got
inside the house with ants up to my knees and grasshoppers
in my glass jar.lol Those were the days.

  17. Nice update Danny, the peppers are looking great. BTW, I've found my container garden, which I've been doing in the same or same size pots since 2005, are requiring FAR more water than in previous years… I'm wondering if the changes in the sun are making this happen, I'm suspecting the burning strength of the sun particularly over the past 2-3 years is what's happening.

  18. Awwww. How WONDERFUL to see how "HAPPY" your pepper plants are now…. YAY! Thriving! Oh, the NERVE of that grasshopper! UGH!

  19. Wanda & Danny, I have a question, Can you tell me how to cook a lb. of Large Lima Beans (Butter Beans). My Gram & Mama (both deceased) cooked tomatoes in their butter beans. She didn't add tomato sauce. Do you know how to cook this dish? If any one knows how to cook Butter Beans & Tomatoes please reply.
