Maybe you planted your potatoes somewhere else? Mind you, it was really hot and dry all summer, so perhaps they just withered away?

I feel for you pulling the baby plants. I can pull them but I replant them in another spot. At least they have a chance. lol
Take the snails off get rid of them.
Looks like a Radish Icicle (Long White)
They can be used in salad as sprouts that way you aren’t wasting
I'm growing sprouts for the first time this year and i got so excited when they got their first little sprouts on them. I think the harvest is great surprise veg is always best, I pulled a parsnip earlier in the year that resembled a pair of legs runningxx

Emma you can snip the young seedlings with ✂️ that way you won't disturb the roots of the others and they wont grow back ❤️

About your Onlons like all vegs the smaller the better they taste

Those 2 onions, look like onion sets and are just beginning to grow, they’ll be ready about next June!

About your finding – it actually looks like a mooli radish, those can grow absolutely massive and taste amazing.
