Repotting & Separating my Overgrown Butterworts

I’ve had these pinguiculas for over a year & they have been needing a good clean up for a while now. In my opinion, they look better when they’re not so clustered & clumped together. Now I have wayyy too many pings but I love them all!

  1. omg thank u 4 this vid! Ur first butterworts video is what made me buy some for my collection & they’re so AMAZING!! I keep recommending them to anyone who has plants bc fungus gnats are inevitable & the butterworts are so effective at catching & eating them!😍🥳

  2. I love watching your videos, I’ve beeb having trouble doing homework by myself and you make things better♥️

  3. Wow they look amazing!! And I remember watching your first repot of these and I’m so happy they made a comeback ❤️

  4. I knocked one of mine over and you are so correct that they fall apart! My mom has several and they are always flowering. So cute. I am Shari your video with her. Thanks for doing this.

  5. Erika you must be a mind reader, I have just recently started getting into carnivorous plants. I have been debating on getting a ping because of dormancy but you have convinced me to give them a try. Do they go dormant here in so. Ca?

  6. I’ve been wanting to buy a ping for a while now. This video is confirming that I need one. But now do I wait till spring or just buy them now. 🧐

  7. awe. your pings are awesome. I love pings but can't keep them alive. idk what they want, killed 3😫

  8. A cheaper option to distilled water and more readily available option to rain water is reverse osmosis water, basically what you get from one of those watering stations in the five gallon jugs for about a dollar. And you might not even need that if the total dissolved solids in your tap is below 50. You can even just install a reverse osmosis system under your sink for cheap.

  9. I wish I could find a butterwort…they are so cute and I love that they eat gnats. 💚🙏🪴

  10. Reading about these plants now & shopping around for one too. They appear to be easier to care for than some of the other bug eating plants I've researched.

  11. Gorgeous plants! Pings are very easy growers and great at catching fungus gnats. I hope you do sell or trade pings in the future. I have some pings that need dividing and I’m hoping to trade some divisions
