  2. Hey Daisy! Family time is paramount…lots of rain up this way too (Md zone 7a)

You still have time to turn most of this around. Your garden looks beautiful 😻

  3. Hola Daisy!
    Bendiciones

  4. This is why I LOVE your channel; the candid footage and commentary. Keep 'em coming!

  5. This is the time of year that all these pests and diseases start hitting us, especially with all the rain, heat and humidity. I am in Zone 9a also but in Florida and I have started cleaning out the gardens except for the peppers and eggplants. They do real well in this heat. So I will be getting everything ready to plant the fall/winter garden soon. I had the mushroom tomatoes also and they're done for the season. Cucumbers didn't like the heat this year either. I am going to try to plant more zucchini, cukes and beans in 3 weeks so that maybe we will have a break in the heat by then and also the cycle of bugs we have now might be finished by then. You have the same kind of weather we have
It's almost impossible to get good long crops in lately. We might have to either start planting a little earlier than normal or waiting and planting a little later. Things are changing how we plant and we will have to change with it and learn how to outsmart it which means plants that can tolerate our hot weather, plants that are resistant to the mildew
All of these will help along with your worms and compost, feeding the soil that feeds the plants. It gets better. Just keep at it.

  10. My daughter turns 18 next week and I can't believe how quickly she grew up! It just seemed like she was just a toddler not that long ago. Crazy how fast time goes by!

Try trimming back your flowers. I do that when they start to get leggy and wild. 😊
